Indian Mountain Kush

Dairon First week of growth completed, almost all are growing at a good pace except for two specimens, the germination rate was 100% and ready to put in substrate, all in less than 24h, I've never seen faster seeds, the internodal distance is very short, a sign of future nice fat buds, I'm going to water with nutrients, with an EC of 0.9 so they give a good push in the second week, after doing the apical pruning, I did a spray with Alg a mic from Biobizz, so they better withstand the stress caused by the pruning.

Dairon I did an apical topping on the ones that needed it and also removed some lower leaves to clean them up, as I made a mistake and didn't fill the pots enough with substrate. I'm going to leave them for another week to take clones, as I see some pretty interesting traits in certain plants. I'll raise the EC to 1.1 - 1.2. They got a bit stalled from the topping, but nothing that can't be fixed with a couple of sprays of Alg a Mic from Biobizz to help them recover from the stress. They're growing at a good pace now, and once they get a watering with the mentioned EC, they'll stretch nicely for cloning and then move on to flowering. 😄

Dairon Hello everyone, I'm quite satisfied with the growth of these kush. As you can see, they're not very tall, but they all have four main branches at the same height thanks to the apical pruning and some pinching I did for this purpose. Anyway, now comes the stretch of the first two weeks of flowering, where they will get taller. It's a Kush that has very small internodes and branches a lot; the stems are very thick and strong. In the last watering, I only applied an EC of 0.4 to clean them a bit since I've taken clones from some of them. However, I sprayed them with Alg a mic and Acti vera from Biobizz to maintain their greenness and help them better withstand the stress from pruning and the change in light hours.

Dairon I like this strain more and more, easy to grow, very bushy, and it responds well to pruning. By doing low and apical pruning, I've managed to equalize the height of the branches easily on some plants, not all. The first pistils are already appearing on 2 of the plants, which is very important to consider when selecting a mother. As I mentioned, I cloned all 9 plants (2 clones per plant) and I will keep one mother if I end up being convinced by its quality.

Dairon Well, the fourth week of flowering is starting, and things are getting serious. As you can see, this Indian Mountain Kush has two well-differentiated phenotypes; one is wider and shorter but responds very well to topping, balancing the lateral branches with the central ones quite a bit. It starts to flower much faster than the other and has a sweet smell when rubbing the stem. The other one has more stature and typical size for a Kush, with longer branches and good internode spacing. It's taking longer to flower, but I'm sure it will yield well, with the same sweet aroma. I will be increasing the EC to 1.6 so that good flowers can form, not forgetting to spray one last time with Leaf Coat from Biobizz to protect them from fungi and insects.

Dairon They're starting to look nice and form good buds. As I mentioned last week, there's quite a difference between the two phenotypes of this Indian Mountain Kush; one takes quite a bit longer to flower than the other. Nothing negative, I'll have to closely observe the final result and evaluate everything to choose one of them as a mother. I increased the EC a bit with the Bio Bloom; when you water them and move them a little, they release a pretty pleasant smell 😁. I'll continue with the Biobizz nutrient schedule to raise the EC to 1.9 over the next 3 weeks and see how the flowers develop. Cheers!

Dairon Even though it's the same strain, as you can see, there's quite a difference between the specimens when it comes to flowering. I think the ones that look more advanced will be cut in about 2 weeks, while the others will take another week or even two. I'm continuing with the Biobizz products, and I'll also add some more PK to help the buds gain more volume. They have a good aroma and quite a bit of resin; next week, the ones with the more advanced buds should start to bulk up. I have clones of both phenotypes because even if it goes to 9/10 weeks of flowering, you can still compensate with a good yield, like I've experienced with other Kush. The other phenotype stays smaller but flowers at full speed; we'll have to evaluate everything when it comes to choosing the best one as a mother. 😄

Dairon Well, as you can see, some of these Indian Mountain Kush have beautiful buds full of resin, while others still have a few weeks to go. The first ones I mentioned only need to fatten up and mature, which can take at most about 12 days to harvest some of them, but the final word will come from the microscope that will tell me when the optimal cutting time is. I hope it's soon because I can't wait to try it 😋

Dairon Hello everyone!! As I've mentioned in previous posts, the difference between the two phenotypes of this Indian Mountain Kush is clear. I've already harvested 4 plants while the others still have quite a bit to go. The best thing I could do is clone these plants, as it's not common to find varieties that are truly mature at 48 days; they usually take about a week longer than what the brands indicate. For the ones that are yet to be harvested, I will continue with Biobizz feeding because the flowers gain weight and resin like crazy with them, plus it's an ecological and high-quality option.
