I hope this goes well. Choose Gelat. OG because of the reviews for the uplifting effects of this strain. 72h in the paper towel and the seed germinated well. Only one plant to begin with. Small setup because of lack of space. Medium -> 60% coco / 40% worm castings. In this first week, I'm going 24h of light. Trying to keep RH in the 60~70% inside the tent.

16/07 - Beginning of week 2 in veg. I applied a garlic solution to prevent pests. I am trying to fine-tune water yet. 18/07 - Some problems with nutrients. I flushed a little bit and monitored the plants. Give filtered dechlorinated water only. The new leaves seem healthy. 20/07 - Finally fine-tuned water and nutrients. The plant looks beautiful. I applied a little bit of LST and the response was almost instantaneous! 22/07 - Last day in week 2 of veg. Trying to correct my soil pH.

23/07 - First day of week 3 in veg. Had a little bit of a problem with soil pH. Trying to correct it yet but this plant already looks better so I think it's working. I don't know if was the right choice but I topped the plant. I hope this does not go wrong. Fingers crossed. 25/07 - Continuing with LST and did some defoliation. Watering every 2-3 days. 27/07 - Some serious LST going on, continuing with defoliation to open the canopy and maximize light intake.

30/07 - Beginning of week 4 in veg. I am continuing with LST and defoliation. 01/08 - Spreading the plant a little bit to shed some light on the inner nodes. 03/08 - The plant seems healthy. No signs of flower yet. The LST is doing very well. Also, I topped the plant, don't know if it was too late for that, hope this goes well. 05/08 - Last day in week 4 in veg. Can't wait to see this plant in flower! Continuing with LST, leaf tucking, and defoliation.

17/08 - I had a 5 days travel, which worried me a little, mainly because my irrigation system did not arrive in time. But when I came back the plant seemed very healthy. The medium was dehydrated but as you can see even after some defoliation the plant continues to be very bushy. 19/08 - Very wide canopy! I have a 60x60cm tent and half of it it's taken by the Gelat. Og. Had to rearrange the tent. The Gelat. OG is little bit ahead of the other plant. 21/08 - Did defoliation to open more the canopy.

22/08 - Begin of week 7. Very impressive the difference from yesterday when I did defoliation. This plant recovers pretty fast! Trying to bring down my soil pH. 24/08 - Only 3 days after defoliation, the plant packed some serious bush. Very happy with the growth development. 26/08 - I can't keep up with this plant. I am trying LSD for maximum light. 28/08 - Last day in week 7. The plant had a big stretch this week. I'm continuing with LST and with light defoliation and leaf tucking.

29/08 - First day in week 8. The plant had an amazing stretch in just one week! Very pleased to grow this strain. 31/08 - The plant is drinking a lot! Continuing with LST and rotating the pots trying to even the canopy. The stretch continues. 02/09 - Did a heavy cleaning for better energy distribution. Struggling with the RH, very dry here. I'm watering every other day with 2l of water. The stretch continues. 04/09 - Last day in week 8. The plant is stretching well. Did a little research in other diaries from the same strain and seems that the problems that I had in the previous weeks delayed its development by 1.5-2 weeks.

05/09 - First day in week 9. I am trying not to put stress on the plant not to delay its development, watering every other day and adding silica to improve its health. 07/09 - Continuing with LST and defoliation to give more light to the buds. The plants are drinking like crazy. 09/09 - I have to travel for 5 days. Buy an automatic watering system, I hope this goes well. I added some nutrients to the water and the pH was around 6.2. Set the watering schedule to 1 watering per day, and about 1 liter per plant per day.

Only on one leaf of one plant. Is this some fungus or virus? It looks a bit like coffee rust, but I couldn't find anything else like it. How should I proceed? Thanks in advance!

Pretty certain this is Leaf Spot Fungus otherwise known as Rust Fungus... and you'll need to jump on this quickly as it spreads fast... it spreads by spores that you can't even see so don't think you've got any time to waste here... I won't go into all the details of what you need to do as this article is very thorough.. Do give it a read and get going so you don't lose your entire grow... https://www.urbanorganicyield.com/rust-spots-on-leaves-during-flowering/ Good luck!

14/09 - Had a 5 days travel. Set the watering once a day and 1 liter per plant. It went really well in the watering, but I don't have a thermo-hygrometer that sends data, and right now it's really hot (around 30ºC) and very dry (RH~30-40%), so I'm struggling to maintain healthy levels for those two variables. 18/09 - Really struggling to control the fungal rust contamination. From what I read this fungus doesn't contaminate the buds but it can negatively influence bud development. I'm trying Boudreaux to stop the disease. The plants are drinking a lot of water.

21/09 - I had to harvest the plant due to fungal rust. I tried some different IPM but the infection kept spreading. I made a homemade drying box with an exhaust on the top and put a ventilator inside. Hoping to get a good dry. I'm gonna open after 4 days to check the stems and every 2 days after that. In general, it was an excellent experience for my first grow, did some rookie mistakes and tried various techniques, which did some good and some bad to the plants. Definitely this experience is gonna help in the next grows. After the drying period, I'm weighing both the belowground growth (roots) and aboveground growth (leaves, flowers, and stems) to compare to future grows.
