Well I've got something special for you with this one!!!! Square container vs round we will see what yields better and what she prefers. They are about the exact same size so I think this will be an awesome comparison grow side by side. Hope you enjoy and check back next week to see just how fast she grows!!!!!!
So far I think square is winning. Again this is the exact same soil. I think this is a far comparison myself. I will continue to keep doing these types of yield comparisons. I hope you enjoy. The thing is the square container seems to add some sort of larger intermodal spacing. I can't say for certain, but I think roots like 90 degree angles....... hope you enjoy & check back next week to see just who's faster. & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!!
These girls are doing great. The square container is proving to work amazing. I do think I need to feed the one it's a little more hungry in the round container. I really do hope you folks enjoy my diaries cause I sure do. Check back next week to see just how fast she grows & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!
These ladies are already beginning to pre flower strong. I'm super excited to see what one yields more the square 3 gallon or the round 3 gallon. Check back next week to see just how fast they bud & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!
These girls are off to the races! They are both beginning to flower slowly but surely as I've over watered them a little. Thing were warm & now its cooled off in the house it threw my watering regime off my apologies. To be fair they are very close in size and maturity, the main difference is structure ironically. I'd have to say the round container is happier but it may have slightly more dirt. I hope you enjoy the round vs square fabric competitive journey I am providing!!!! Check back next wee to see just how fast they bud! & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!
These girls are coming along despite the same hiccups as the strawberry gorilla. What it is I think is cal mag issues from re using old soil and over watering. I added ac infinity self watering bases to help me keep up with the 24 hour lighting. Check back next week to see just how fast they bud & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!
Its gonna be very close. They dont seem to like the 3 gallon containers but that's okay with me. It was a poor choice to use such small containers. In the future minimum I'll run is 4. I'd say the round containers actually a little bigger of a plant but it has 2 legit tops and I didnt top it. The square container does however have a larger bud on it due to only having the one top despite LST. I I definetly learned to probably wait longer for LST as what happened is I think I also stressed them early on at week 3. I've had my best results training at week 4 and in just about pre flower. All in all I'm still very happy with these chery colas the smells wonderful & they still grew despite me bieng very busy with a greenhouse op. Check back next week to see just how fast she buds & to see who's winning square or round. Remember, remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!!!
They dont seem to like 3 gallon containers sadly but I think part of it also was the coast of maine soil that I used. I gotta admit it's gotten very interesting with the ac infinity self watering bases. It's much easier to prevent over watering and also allows air to the bottom of the cloth container. It collects runoff and so far I like them. I've now got the square container on one I had the round one on too but it got very heavy with my top watering. You still need to water them from the top just not nearly as much. Check back next week to see just how fast she buds & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!
Love this strain it is wicked frosty. I've ran it 3 times the first one was quite a bit larger but I'm very happy with these. The thing is I think round containers are slightly less likely to be under watered and more likely to be over watered. Squares the opposite maybe surface area. I feel this test was a real legit way to see running the exact same strain in a 3 gallon round and a 3 gallon square was pretty awesome.
I'm really happy with this run. Things went well. I learned to use grow dots on older soil. I learned a lot of what not to do and a little bit more of what I should do. I know my humidity is far too low but if it raises above 60 I get mildew. I'm super excited to weigh these but I have a guess that the square container is denser but the round looks like it has more on it yet it looks more fluffy. I wonder which one will taste better and weigh more! It was the same exact soil. Check back next week for the smoke report and updated photos of freshly trimmed buds. & always remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!!!
