Sprouted 9 days after placed in the soil, the seed was really tiny, but was the first to germinate.
Germinated in substrate, Coco+Perlite+Compost+Top-Soil.
40ml feeding of Calcium Nitrate mixed with Multi-nutrient hydro feed the day before breaking the substrate surface.
August month weather consisted of periodic rainfall, 30km/h winds, with several days reaching lowest lows between 3 am and 7 am of 3 degrees C, 35F, average ambient 17 degrees C, 66F.
Grow objective:
Outdoor Autoflower, fed with calcium nitrate, monopotassium phosphorus, and full spectrum micro and macro hydro salts solution, costing 100 ZAR altogether (7 USD, 6€, 5£, 4Calling Birds, 3French Hens, 2Turtle Doves, or a parteidge in a pear tree.)
Germinate in a solo cup filled with the final use substrate.
(*Notes, reduce ppm of hydro solution)
Transfer into final pot when first roots are visible when observing the solo cups sides or bottom.
Final pot is a 30l fabric tote bag filled with substrate, and placed in a location with approximately 7 hours irradiance.
Feeding plan: approximated mix 1.7 EC Nutrients to 0.3 EC water, the water has Ph of 8.0 and with the hydro salts, the final feeding solution is around 6.5.
(*Note. No EC meter, and using a conversion table of grams of salt in solution to approximated EC. Plants will be monitored for nute pushing or dial back.)
Here we grow!
