26 Sep all looking good Diesel is getting quite large and shows signs of flowering I put the White Widow in the middle in a bigger 8ltr pot - she didn't pause for a minute 30 Sep - This should actually be the start of Week 4 - sorry got my dates wrong (!) Hope the Diesel doesn't get too much bigger - want some space for the others Going to get crowded in this 70 x 70 tent Oct 1 - Smell is a problem - mainly the Diesel I think. Ordered a new carbon filter to fix (old one is from 3 years ago) Back left: Diesel auto, day 40 from sprout - she should be about half way there Back right: Quick One - day 16 Middle: White Widow - day 21 Front two: White Widow, day 16 Oct 5 - Diesel may need a bit of a trim - she is on day 44 The White Widows are going great The little Quick One has a sickly looking leaf but otherwise looks fine Oct 6 - that's the end of week 4 - the White Widow in the middle is on day 26 and starting flowering

You won't get 60 bucks more in bud but a bigger bill for two months.

I would honestly just lower the light you currently have in your grow. I’d try hanging 8-12” above the canopy. 25 watts per square foot is sufficient for flowering alone. You could add more light up until 50w/sqft. I would look for a light tailored to flowering though, with more red light than others.

Your current light is rated for a 60*60cm flowering you should have plenty of light for flowering. But if your do want more light get one for flowering. Reds 2700k- 3000k. Don't want any blue with "supplemental" flowering lights.

Any idea what's wrong with my Quick One She's on day 30 and recently developed some browning on leaves Took her out for a check - she weighs the same as the others (4kg, 12 liter pot) No bad smells Maybe the soils a bit heavy for her? Who knows See week 6 of my grow

Hi @growinggrannie sorry for the lack of information on growing techniques Basically I am just growing them in shop bought compost (Westland Multipurpose Compost with John Innes) Not adding any nutrients at all The others are not showing this problem Lights are on 24 hours, temp about 21-24c, humidity 45-45% I have no way of accurately measuring pH or ppm/EC Maybe it's just this strain / this one

Your diary doesn't give us any information as to how you're growing them - your focus seems to be on the lights which doesn't have anything to do with what we're seeing in this plant. The very first thing I would tell you to do is to check your pH... something's off with it and is most likely the culprit here.... water her until you get some runoff and check the pH of the runoff... this will tell you what's actually going on inside the soil, the pH level that exists there... you can also check the ppm/EC of the runoff to add to your knowledge of what's going on with her. If it's badly out of whack (should sit between 6.2 and 6.4), you may have to do a flush on her to get her back to square one... and then figure out what nutes you were using and at what strength that you should either cut out or cut back on.... Understand that each plant is an individual and what works for one may not work for another... you're going to have to adjust your regimen (whatever it is - as I said, you don't tell us) to make HER happy... Good luck... but start filling out the diary a little more completely so we have the most information possible when issues arise! That helps us help you.

Thing is - the others are all fine - same watering - and I move the fan around in the tent regularly However she is a Quick One and the others the same age are White Widows

Thanks everyone for your answers to my grow light question. There doesn't seem any way to directly answer on here (unless I'm missing something) If that LED pulls 100W it will cost about £19 a month The Spider Farmer is currently about 11 inches above the tallest bud (looks more in the pictures, but this is a pretty small 70x70cm tent) A lot of the buds are squished up at the edge so was wondering about getting a more even lighting
