Strain: Sweet Tai by Sweet seeds (Photoperiod, Feminized).
Seed was submerged to water on Sep 4, next day it was put between two cotton pads and after getting 5mm root, moved to the peat pallet.
This nano-grow is happening in very small custom made grow box, where total vertical space is 70 cm.
The main goal is to keep plant as short as possible, as vertical space is around ~50 cm.
To make plant as short as possible:
- Plan to top it on the 3rd node.
- Use main-lining & LST method. The final goal is to keep 8 even colas.
- High Stress Training will be used to slow the growth of the branches and increase fluid transfer through the branches.
During second week there was rapid growth. By the end of week 4th & 5th nodes have started to form. To save energy of the plant, growth tips on 1st & 2nd nodes were removed. 3rd node will become base for two main branches after topping. I'll try to form the branches using mainlining technique and top her next week.
On the week 3 main main lining activities:
- Topping aftert 3rd node - left the tip of stem.
- Defoliation on the lower nodes.
- Slight supper-cropping on two new branches were applied.
Thinking - how many colas should I plan for 30x30 cm area? Is it better to have 8 or try to fit 12 colas?
To make colas bigger, I will be constantly super-crop the branches to make them thicker.
