Hello dear grow community! This Sweet Cheese from Sweet Seeds has grown 12 weeks under the sun. Two weeks before the change to 12/12 it was moved indoors. So she has 14 weeks of growth. I definitely want to let her flower for a total of 12 weeks. If she wants even 16. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Lets grow!

Slowly she starts so smell. :) Only a touch of cheese from sniff to sniff. It needs time to develop. So far only +3.5cm in height. Seems like a slow creeper. Curious about her final height. I will partially pollinate her. Maybe next Sunday. Donator are two Afghan Males from Spliff Seeds.

Hello and welcome or hello back to my grow report. I have some sad news to share with you. A few weeks ago, still wallowing under the warm rays of the sun. When suddenly terror struck her. Little monsters with eight legs, whose hunger seems insatiable. Spider mites. I treated them as soon as I realized the threat, with a solution of water and canola oil. You should only use this remedy on hard foliage. Always test your solution on one area before wetting everything with it. What happens if the solution contains too much canola oil, you can see in the example picture. Since I was careless and treated my Sweezie only once. I had to watch the return of the suckers to my horror. I recognized it on day 35 after 12/12. Last Sunday. I don't think her genetics would be super susceptible to that. This year they were very widespread. The climate was perfect. Hot, dry with little wind. Now that damage has already been done I unfortunately can't show you her full potential. I noticed what I thought was a nitrogen deficiency four weeks ago. I countered this with a fine layer of horn shavings, over which I placed a thin layer of fresh soil. In fact, it was the spider mites that were happily feasting on her chlorophyll. The flower which seemed to me the most endangered was removed. I like the effect of cannabis harvested too early. To allow her the best possible progress of the attempt to increase the probability of fertilization (Build Flowers). I wetted her with a light mixture of water and canola oil. Leaves and flowers. Gently massaged it into every nook and cranny. For this I use the atomizer from Zamnesia. Warning: If you do this you should not smoke the flowers in any case! There is danger to life! The burned, inhaled oil can and will destroy your alveoli! Since I mainly take edibles, it was and still is the best treatment for me in the bloom. You can still use the flowers to make Edibles without any danger. Of course also hashish. As long as you do not smoke it! The canola oil works by clogging the respiratory organs of the animals. The same happens to you when you smoke it. You could die. Apart from that, it is a great way to save your harvest. I will let her stand until she has no strength left. For reasons given, I will postpone the planned partial pollination until the next Sweet Cheese. We'll see if we can manage 12 weeks of flowering. The red color which you may have noticed, is produced by the Led. Happens every time. Stem, leaves and partially flowers. I like it very much. Dont seem to negatively affect them. The basically non-existent growth after initiation of flowering, seems to be a result of spider mite infestation. Or else is due to the long growth period. Or both. Or something other. What do you think? The scent is now stronger then before. Not much Cheese at the moment. But a really nice sweet Skunk! Remember me of old times. I am confident, we get some cheese in the late bloom. :) Tomorrow there will be an update in my second grow report (Winter Withdrawal). There are some changes and a surprise! See you back here in two weeks with news on Sweezie. Until then. Lets Grow! Edit: I have now partially pollinated her. Day of pollination is day 43 after 12/12. A second time today on the same two flowers. Which I will repeat a third time tomorrow. I did this by nipping the male and raining his dust on a unbleached paper. All in a different room where he stands naturally. After I had properly knocked off. And had turned off the circulating air as well as exhaust air. I carefully picked up pollen with my index finger and combed her hair with it. Then I wetted the flowers carefully with a little water. Three days after tomorrow's last pollination, I set the circulating air active again. Exhaust air continues as always. Look at this male O.O Which, by the way, is called AF4F1. The first male of my first crossing. He has a height of 93cm. And is a week older then AF3F1. The seeds need an average of five weeks. Four at least, up to six are possible.

Hello and welcome or hello back to my grow report. Today we write day 56 after 12/12. How quickly they grow up. She now emanates a pungent, very sweet Skunk smell, as we know and love. The cheese still needs time to mature. I am deeply saddened not to be able to smoke any of her juicy flowers. :( Since I need some medicine, I harvested one of her flowers today. I will infuse some butter, as the bud is dry enough. The pollination was a success. The calyxes are nicely swollen. Can't wait to plant these seeds! Although they are still in the nascent stage. What I want to cross these with, I already know. Do you see the light? @Sweet Seeds Thank you so much for your work! For providing us with these wonderful strain. The seeds gathered from my panhandling will not be sold. I do not want and will not get any financial benefit from your long work. This has to be said I think. I have no interest in the selection process, although I find it very interesting. Rather, the variety excites me! I look forward to many different impressions and experiences that will unquestionably result from it. Back to Sweezie. I treated her two more times with canola oil. It seems like she was able to build up some chlorophyll again. Although you can clearly see the difficulty she is having. We move forward and do not let ourselves be distracted. In case you were wondering about the sizing. This is more now, because I freed her from the chains. Which are obviously not necessary. She gets Alg-A-Mic and Acti•Vera with each watering. Equisetum arvense every two weeks. And every fourth week a booster of Mykorrhiza. I can't think of anything else to tell you right now. The plan is still 12 weeks of flowering. See you again in two weeks. Don't forget to check my second diary (Winter Withdrawal) tomorrow! Until then. Lets Grow!

Hello and welcome or hello back to my grow report. Today we write day 70 after 12/12. Day 27 after pollination. She gets only water without additives the last two weeks. I harvested the largest flower last Thursday. I can already say something about the effect. A psychedelic strain as I find. Most likely I would describe it as a physical euphoria like from opioids, paired with a gentle LSD headspace. The smell is floral fruity so far. Curing the flowers harvested at the end will reveal their terpene profile to me. Super skunky, yes. Cheesy, so far, no. However, the effect is basically as described on Leafly, etc. I am sure we will find some cheese. The seeds are developing well. They need at least one more week. Light cycle still at 11/13. Don't forget to set your timers for winter time! More blah blah next Thursday in Winter Withdrawal. Until then. Lets Grow!

Hello and welcome or hello back to my grow report. I harvested sweezie today. 83 days after 12/12. Most of the seeds are ripe. I'm very glad I was able to get some harvest and seed in despite the spider mite attack. I definitely recommend this variety and will grow it again. Probably the cross first though. AfghaniXSweetCheese. I think that the cheese smell will set in the course of curling. I will keep you informed. The terpene profile seems to be as stated on Leafly. Very peppery with hints of lemon and lavender. Very pleasant and extremely valuable. Strongly anti-inflammatory. I can recommend if you have large harvests to eat your cannabis raw. This way you can benefit the most from it. A lot of the good stuff is lost when it is burned. The cannabinoid acids like thca, cbda etc. have positive properties. It also tastes very good in my opinion. You will love (or hate) the sour taste. But it will be good for your body and spirit. I will continue to report on the terpenes and effects of Sweet Cheese. Until then. Lets Grow! Update: Two weeks into curing. The scent changed to a light sweet, floral herbal. No Cheese. But thats ok. Ive got three seeds left and will grow it again. Given the amounts of stress, and letting her overripe played a huge roll in the development of the terpene profile for sure. From my partial pollination ive harvested over 40 seeds. Yummy. The Effect (only edible) is a smoth relaxation, long lasting and without a rush. Super Very exited about the SweetCheeseXAfter.
