ArthurStotch the first girl died because a heater was installed for the winter. at such a time, sometimes germination is problematic, so I built a whole box for germination)) the temperature in the box is 27 degrees. a seed in water germinated in 12 hours. further moved to a tampon and foam rubber.
I hope that for another24 hours she will already be placed in the DWC
and after 36 hours I hope to turn on the lights 🙌

ArthurStotch I will extend germination as a week of vegetation because I was asked how to germinate seeds without mineral wool immediately in expanded clay. and I have no desire to change the previous week. today is 4 days since soaking the seed in a glass of water

ArthurStotch Well, the first week has finally come to an end today. At this stage, I lost a lot of seeds this year because I had to turn on the heater and some of them withered and some rotted under the cups. This girl could not avoid these problems too.
I think she is too small for her age. I used a 10 watt lamp and it was under the glass. I think it's starting to rot a little. I took off the cup and it started to dry out too much)).
as a result, I set the 30 watt lamp very high and covered it with a large tall glass. she seems to like it. I hope she recovers and I finally deal with this heater

ArthurStotch I have not changed the solution for 3 weeks)) filtered it out and added some fertilizer because it seemed to be showing symptoms of a phosphorus deficiency. possible burn from the lamp after spraying.
everything else looks good. signs of hard water possibly a little low temperature. but I think it's because of the phosphorus. i can put a more powerful lamp, but I will do it a little later

ArthurStotch Tired of dealing with cheap Chinese instruments. TDS meter went crazy. I thought that my bank of bloom was much weaker than the others and gave a double and sometimes a triple dose of phosphorus and potash fertilizers. as a result calcium blockage. at first I confused it with a phosphorus deficiency and made the situation worse. having measured the solutions again, I found out that bloom is just as strong as micro and gro. so today I changed the solution to 1.1.1 and hope for the best. also i ordered a new tool
I'm not sure if it's Calcium blockage in DWC the plant will lack CalMag even if you use nutrients for hydroponics ...to be honest i only used Atami and Jungle indabox nutes ...but i add CalMag.
@PuufPuuf, At first I thought that I have very weak bloom fertilizers. I decided that it was a lack of phosphorus, but the addition of bloom did not help. I think that this is a block of calcium due to an overdose of phosphorus and potassium. Now the leaves are showing signs of calcium deficiency. I made a new solution with two or three weeks old tap water. what do you think? tap water is 200 ppm. I don't have a Сalmag. i have calcium nitrate. chelated calcium. and magnesium sulfate. but I really don't like magnesium sulfate))
I think everything will be fine. Now the ppm of the solution is about 400 ppm. pure water 200 ppm. I think that tomorrow I will try to spray with calcium chelate
waiting for new measuring tools😒
@ArthurStotch,when deficiency shows on the plant i throw in 1.5ml per liter of solution, but if anything is ok my Calmag writes 1ml. is enough and it is.
@ArthurStotch, About Ppm 🤔 i got a totally different approach look at my diaries i go to the roof with it...it may be i use more nutrients because of that, but in all my RDWC grows (4 finished) i go easily over to 2000ppm or over and the plants are ok with it. But thats me it may be my well water...i start with 400500ppm of clean water.
I change the water when i notice that the plant drinks Less water these normally otherwise i do not change it, em just adding half the nutrients every 5 days or so that i would add to a freash solution.
