the big pot is close to 3 gallons.. as long as you don't go too far over 4-6 week vege, the pot size shouldn't make too much of a difference -- less so if you treat it like a hydro/soilless grow.
the 3 1-gal sized pots will definitely impact yield... unless your are providing frequent fertigation, then that will mitigate the small pot to some extent... a lot of extra effort to water constantly... those things will drink fast. Your soil's amendments won't last long, you'll be providing 100% of the nutes before long.. just like a soilless grow. so, if you use readily available nutes ("hydro" nutes) it will help.
you can get 40+ grams out of a solo cup grow (16oz or 1/8th gallon) with hydro nutes and soilless substrate.
