4 X The White OG a highly rated inexpensive strain from Seedsman, I've been growing for about 15 years, a lot of white widow & various others, this is my first experience with White OG. So far they seem to be growing faster than average and are all growing at the same rate, a good sign we're working with stable genetics.
So far these are true to the Seedsman description of being smaller than average plants, of course that may change here over the next week as stretch kicks in. I continued 1 tsp gal maxigrow, 1 ml Armor Si Silica, 1 ML Cal/Mg until day 4 of flower, they are now receiving a level teaspoon per gallon of Maxibloom & 1 ML (an eye dropper full) of Cal Mag, I will discontinue the Cal/Mag around day 21 end of stretch and continue until final 2 weeks with solely a tsp/gal of maxibloom, at that time I'll add 1/8 tsp/gal KoolBllom powder and continue until flush.
Day 21 Flower; The 2 White OGs in the back have grown quite a bit more than the two front, I'm theorizing its due to the window ac in the grow room having a stuck thermostat and overly cooling. It was running 72 degrees for several days during lights on, So, I've been monitoring that more closly, and partly closing the front of the tent and reducing the speed of the oscillating fan outside. There's an oscilatting fan in the tent to continue airflow along with the exaust.
Coming along well, Day 43 Flower, I've dimmed the lights 10% using a Kill*A*Watt meter. Nutrient wise I've changed it up for the final stretch,
to the gallon of 180ppm city tap water, I've reduced Maxibloom to 1/2 teaspoon, I've began adding 1/4 teaspoon KoolBloom powder and 2-3 teaspoons of Diamond Nectar Humic Acids. I don't need to add ph up or down as this mixture puts my ph @ 6.3, EC is currently 1.7. each plant receives a minimum of 1 gallon per day, more often they receive a gallon and a quarter or half, applied with a garden sprayer a quart or 1/2 gallon at a time throughout the day, usually about every 3 hours. I keep about an inch of water in the trays below the plants, roots have penetrated the bottoms of the pots and are in the nutrient solution below-I drain this off completely every 2-3 days to keep it fresh-I've followed this routine many times before with no ill effect, as a matter of fact the plants seem to thrive even more-so I stopped fighting it.
Back on day 45 I dropped the Maxibloom to 1/2 tsp and added 1/4 tsp Kool Bloom Powder, 2 tsp Diamond Nectar. I've dropped the lights down to 800 watts from 1100 watts peak, I expect to start flushing in about a week at which time I'll drop the power down to 650 watts.
Day 58 Flower The White OG I neglected to turn off a small 5 watt Green LED light at night and the plant nearest the light (right front) and the right most branches of the plant beside it (left front) helped me isolate the cause. All in all, The White OG has been a low odor strain, and high producer, extra dense buds, comparable to DWC grown
