The SolarXtreme 500 proved to much light for the 9 sq ft tent. The plants improved noticeably once I switched to the SolarXtreme 250 and kept it 2 to 3 feet away.

Great light for the size of grow (3x3 tent). Of course, if I had more to spend I would buy the next one up in their line. Great company!
