This was the start of my 6th experiment of semi automating the tent conditions. The improvement over last grow is that the air stone was upgraded to 200mm microporous stone and the air pump replaced with a 7 watt dual pressure pump. The Seed popped within 14 hours using the paper towel method. This was the last of the bath that had been ordered over a year ago so expectations were not real high. Directly planted the popped seed in a rockwool cube soaked in nute water. Placed the cube with exactly one layer of clay underneath. Covered with clay. Water level was brought up to just below the net. Pump set to high pressure made the surface very turbulent and was great for slashing the clay with nute water.
As the week went on, noticed that she never really broke the ground. Found she was growing in the wrong direction, poor tap root was lost. Spun her around and tucked her back in. Didn't really take any photos as, to be honest, I thought she was going to give up. Heh, she had other plans.
