👉The seeds were gifted to me by FB rep. I didnt ask for the seeds, they asked me to grow them. Very grateful for the opportunity to grow some of the most popular seeds out there. To start the germination process I placed the seed in a small glass with a solution of pure water (98% pure 6micro-siemens) with H2O2. After 12 hours the tap root had emerged from the shell. I then placed it into a black plastic container with a cellulose towel soaked in the H2O2 solution. After 24hrs the tap root was 1/4" and was then placed into the media. It emerged on day 6. On day 7 it is still emerging and about to open its cotyledons. 👉I have a 4x4 tent. I will be using a dim-able led light set at 150w for now. It will be increased to its max of 200 as it started to flourish. The plant will be in a 3 gallon cloth pot. 80% coco coir with 20% clay pebbles. I have a layer of clay pebbles on the surface to prevent erosion from watering. I prepped the media by rinsing the coco with de-chlorinated water. I use a carbon tank to de-chlorinate the water. Once in the pots I use RO water fortified with Ca/mag. I measure the run-off to make sure the media is buffered and most of the salt has been rinsed out. After placing the germinating seed into the media I dampen the area around the seed with the seedling mix solution of General Hydroponics drain to waste mix chart (no longer published).

👉The plant has started off very nice. Looks good and is about to take off. Once a day I gave 1.5l solution with calmag only. I would dampen the area around the seedling with the seedling nutrient mix.

👉The plant has really started to take off. Especially the last two days. The run-off has climbed enough for a low EC event. The pH and the EC of the run-off have gone out of the desired range. This is normal as the media starts to develop its micro environment. When doing a low EC fertigation it always has some nutrients in it, and its always followed by a full strength event.

👉The plant has taken off. More than doubled in size. Its didnt stretch up at all and is a short compact bush with a perfect dome of food factories. The secondary branches and starting to gain traction and will do tucking as they grow to expose them. Shows slight wrinkling in leaves. I often see this with pheno type of wide fat leaves. with only 20% clay pebbles I could have over-saturation, but my humidity is also a little lower than desirable. I will push forward and may increase the daily fertigations to 2xs a day. I will also be increasing the frequency of low EC events to keep the media balanced. The plant is going to be a squat bush. I expect to see the plant show pistols in the next 7-10 days.

👉Pistols have emerged! The plant is getting bushier has filled up the pot. I know this because the roots started poking out. The plant is also starting to consume the nutrients, the run-off is beginning to be lower than the inflow. Still looks like its a bit over watered but its not slowing anything down. I will start doing 2x fertigations events on some days. I have also began pruning hidden leaves and larf sites.

👉Flowering has begun. A solid dome of large food factories has mad it difficult for some of the secondary branches to poke thru. So I have done some tucking to expose the advancing flowering tops. The plant has also been drinking in the solution and consuming nutrients. THe run-off remains lower than the inflow. Ive given two a day fertigations every other day. I have trimmed some of the leaves and some of the inner dome future larf sites. 👉In the coming week i will start with Early bloom nutrient mix. I will continue giving as much solution as it wants, and will probably do at least one low EC fertigation event.

👉The flower stretch is on and has almost doubled in height. Im sure it wont get much taller. Ive done light pruning of interior secondary branches and future larf sights. Ive pruned some leaves but its hardly noticeable. The plant is consuming lots of nutrients and until yesterday the run-off has been below inflow. I performed one low EC fertigation. 👉I hate to trim leaves when they are healthy. I will be doing some interior dome pruning as it goes. I will be keeping fed with the early bloom recipe most of the week and may switch to the mid-bloom mix at the end of the week if they continue the pace they are on.

👉This indica leaning plant has kept its dome of leaves as the colas have started popping thru as the reach for the light. When I too theses pix the leaves were not perky as usual. I removed a few inside the dome secondary small branches and a couple of larger ones that were inconvenient and needed to go. So possibly pissed at me. The plant is filling up its corner of the tent and makes me regret not having a larger tent. I also see some purple in the leaf veins on some of the mid area leaves. THis may be due to a low EC irrigation with no added calmag. I finished the week with a calmag only low EC fertigation. The strech is alomst completely done and the flowers are starting to build. I would say its my favorite part, but there is no favorite part, its all full right up to trim day purgatory.

👉The buds are bulking up and the plant it probably as tall as it will get and is as bushy as the tent will allow. THe light is at maximum height and just right at 18" from the Queens tip. There was some slight nutrient issue in some leaves. Possibly magnesium or manganese. I was hoping the answer would be 42 but just in case I added extra magnesium and extra manganese. As I feed the plant I rotate the plant from 45-180 degrees. The aroma has also increased and a nicely sweet stank is competing with its tent-mate. The run-off EC is now spiking quickly and the plant is still consuming lots of solution daily (av 3.5l/day). The pH remains stable and in range. I have done a couple of low EC fertigations to help keep the media balanced.

👉The most notable thing about this week is the aroma from this plant. Super sweet and sexy! Its almost like stripper perfume! Fruity, sweet and sexy! The queen cola is going to be epic. The secondary buds are about half the queens size, which is a departure from some of my recent indica strong plants that would make a very even canopy of buds on their own. The plant is healthy and the buds are becoming very frosty! Going to be a nice Christmas season harvest. 👉This week the run-off was spiking quickly but the pH was stable. I have done some low EC irrigation's. I may do an extended one to rinse the media a little more thoroughly. I will also start using the USB microscope to inspect trichomes and watch them as the plant matures.

👉Its bulking up nicely. The queen is very nice! The secondary colas are half its size. The frost is everywhere and covers even the majority of the sugar leaves. The only draw back Im seeing is way too many sugar leaves. Will make harvest very monotonous. The aroma is intensely sweet and pleasant! Ive had slight nutrient issues and the repercussions of that can be seen in some upper leaves, but its not bad. After searching the trichomes with the usb microscope I can see that most of the trichomes are clear and no amber. 👉ive given a couple of low EC/ high volume fertigation events followed by regular strength solution event. The run-off is spiking after just 24hrs. So I will continue to do low EC/high volume fertigations, which will always be followed by regular strength solutions. I switched to late bloom wk 10 nutrient mix on the General hydroponics drain to waist mix schedule.

👉The plants fan leaves are fading fast. The flowers are fat and frosty. The trichomes are mostly cloudy. I havent taken any pix with the micro scope because its such a pain in the ass. I have used it and the eye loop to observe the plant. I will keep the plant going for one more week using the ripen mixture.

👉The plant looks ready, there arent many white pistols left on the main colas, andthe leaves are fading fast. The trichomes are mostly cloudy all around. I will do a staggered harvest and may take two sessions. I dont like all the sugar leaves, but they are frosty as they can be so I wont be trimming them out. The run-off also shows that the plant is done, the run-off spikes in one day. So I have been giving low EC irrigation followed by the ripen recipe mixture. The aroma is very sweet and fruity, with a tinge of something that is hard to describe, perhaps thats the banana? I never read the reviews on this plant so I dont know what to expect except for high THC and fun flavor.

I started at the top of the plant to harvest and worked my way down doing just a few colas at a time over the course of almost two weeks. This was to allow the lower branches to ripen a little longer and to spread the trim purgatory to shorter more tolerable sessions. The staggered approach has been working well for me the last few plants. I Cut each cola branch and trim it wet. I them separate the main cola of the branch from the lower buds and larf on the branch. I put the branch buds and the larf in the net in two different levels. I weight and hang the colas with clothes pins that have a letter that corresponds to its wet weight on the log. I put the colas in bags after a day and try to extend their dry time. I monitor the weight of each cola and compare it to the wet weight of each but to determine when it has had approximately 25% of the original weight. Thats when they go in jars with hygrometers to insure they are at 62% or lower. Im finding I prefer my super sticky weed to be 55-60%.
