Thought I’d join the tiny pot challenge for fun. This is a Smoothie Autoflower from Fastbuds in a skull chalice!
-Placed seed with pointed tip downwards directly into Ocean Forest in chalice.
-Sprayed the top with a tiny bit of water
-Placed into tent that’s temp/humidity is staying constant at 77-79F and 65-70%RH
-Soil seems to be drying very quickly so added more water until it was moist and put a small humidity dome on top
-Was having some issues with the soil drying up too quick so I started over with a peat pellet like I usually do and the seed popped in 3 days. Should have done this in the first place 😝
Day 1 - Sprout came up from peat pellet and was put in chalice containing ocean forest. Chalice was placed in tent where temp/humidity is constant at 78F and 70%
Day 7 - Everything going well. I have been sparingly watering every second day
-Watering a bit once a day
-Noticing a bit of yellowing on bottom leaves so I think it’s time for a little top dress soon
-Started showing a few pistils already
Grew better than expected considering the small size of the pot. Smells like a fruity bouquet with hints of herbs and tastes sweet and fruity with an aftertaste of berry. Effect is a nice body high but not too much of a couch lock feeling. Works well for pain
Grew nicely in the chalice and needed to be watered daily. Produced some beautiful buds and a pretty fat cola. Had no issues I had to worry about and overall grew a lot better than expected!
If you have / can get a small aquarium pump with an airstone; you can add dissolved oxygen (DO) to your water/nutes. Really helping my roots stay happy in a head lock. 😅
@CrystalMeph, Thanks man! Had some issues first off and my taproots just dried up putting the seeds directly in the soil because I underwatered. Should have just put them in peat pellets to begin with I always have success with those
Hey @Myrcene-dream,
Thanks a bunch for growing our Smoothie Auto, and sharing this diary with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
Have a good weekend
