Mephisto Purple Nuggets

So I was a bit worried about the plant after the patch of brown I found and I discovered another little patch so I decided to chop, After I chopped I realised there had been a break in the stem at some point so likely the issues related to that. Will dry for 10+ days is the plan and will update as and when. Peace. Been drying for a week, shiftted to a paper bag for the next few days before jars I still havnt weighed properly but I think I have about 70g, about 10-12g of buds had budrot so final weight is gonna just be what survived. I think I lost about 1oz in total to budrod which is a shame obviously but what has survived looks really nice and I have a good couple of oz so not a total disaster, My plan is to let this cure properly and keep on a top shelf while I smoke other strains so might be a while for a smoke report. 9 days drying and the stems were snapping and buds feeling dry so I went to jar, in burp mode for a while and this stuff I will keep until last to use, and aim to have some curing for spring/summer use, it might not make it tthat far, all things considered but I might update here with a final bud so its all on record. Focus goes to 3wok grow :)

I feel like this plant was a few mistakes away from being really nice but unfortunately most of the smoke was a bit harsh and lacking much flavour. However after the full cure the jar smell was really nice like berrys mixed with a classic skunky smell really sweet smelling, the smoke lacked the taste but really hit the spot for body stone and general end of day relaxing. Unfortunately I have had poor luck with these purple nuggets seeds and I have one seed left from 4, 2 didnt sprout at all during germination and one I accidentally badly damaged when it was young so I scrapped it for pot space. Anyway, with all the issues and it being the only seeds ever I havnt been able to pop, I will take this strain for what it is and leave it, if I did it again I would know what to do to improve on this result and I did end up with a decent amount of untarnished smoke, but I lost so much with my feeding error, I track the days before hand now so I know exact dates to do what and it seems to have gone better although not perfectly. I have put photos up of my last bud from the purple nuggets I am hoping its one of the less tarnished but because of its size its prime candidate to have issues within. Thankfully in total my grow was saved by the freebie on the left of the tent and that mango smile x cdlc is really nice smoke now its cured and im burning through it. I was planning to try to reverse a purple nugget branch to try and preserve the genetic but honestly I think I will find other mephisto strains I will prefer, and I have the strawberry nuggets to try at some point too anyway. Despite its issues it probably was the strongest of the 3 I grew or at least on par with the mango smile, they are different stones and I like them both but yeah purplke nuggets I feel like ive lived and learned with it again, second grow ever done and I didnt come away with 0 so I cant complain at all.
