This is a Why Not? grow. The only thing was that I couldn’t spend any $s on it. I had lots of grow leftovers kicking around so I could run it outdoors on my sunny patio at the same time as the indoor grow. I had seeds laying around that I bought from Crop King a year ago. Leftover Advanced Nutrients nutes. Potting soil. Half of a bag of hydroton as well as some gravel for the bottom inch for drainage. Add some random pots kicking around in the shed & I had a grow!
So July 1, I put 2 White Widow Auto seeds in paper towel. When they both had nice tails 2 days later I put them in Rapid Rooters that I had in the freezer & potted them in the sun.
Growing well & bulking up. Obviously liking the bloom nutes. I alternate watering/nuting but do it only every couple of days to let them almost dry out.
I harvested when there were some amber trichomes - but not a whole bunch. I was fighting white powdery mould & rain was forecast for a few days so I cut. A very nice smell . . . A good harvest for $0 spent.😉
I harvested at 68 days from planting. A very easy strain to grow. The hot summer helped but the humidity did bring on powdery mould which required the 'milk wash' every 2nd day at the end. I will grow again. The White Widow Auto numbers: plant 1 - 29.8 grams, plant 2 - 23.3 gr, dry trim 17.9. 00
Thank you. I am just fighting some white powdery mildew due to our continued hot & humid weather. The internetrs told me to try a milk/water solution. That certainly brightened up the plants & hopefully stopped the mildew.
