Hi guys. I´m new so what can I say. Sorry for less photos, it will be better on my second try. Had so much problems with my girls. For example two times unsuccesful germination (from 10 seeds only 1 wedding cake sprouded) LED lights too close to canopy (caused slower growth and lot of colors on leaves), fluctuation of pH, no runoff because I did´t know how is it important. Wedding cake in first week of flower started showing male nanners, so I tried to fought with it (immediatelly removed). I will see if I find some seeds in buds but for i didn´t see any of them. I´m simply learning from my mistake and studied in free time about it. After realized I had LED burn on leaves, immediately set my LED lights higher on 60cm (80% dimming) in week 4 of vegetation, dimming set on 100% in week 5 of vegetation when I started controling runoff. I´m running RO water all the time. Wedding cake was topped two times, OG´s didn´t. LA OG Kush are free samples which arrived with wedding Cake seeds. After two weeks of WC growing OG´s was just in cup of water and wait for sprouding:D. But flowering time has same. So I tried it. Here is result. I added nutrients according to schedule from Terra Aquatica, sometimes little bit more EC, sometimes less EC. I Have Atami Wilma system but with drippers and 11l cocos pots is not good idea in my opinion. Achieving good runoff is quite hard and salts accumulated so I decided to use manual feeding.
Trying to keep constant humidity about 40-45% in the night, 45-48% in daytime. Dehumidifier runing at night, exhaust air from dehumey is pulled out from tent. I´m feeding only one time per day, 1 hour after turned lights on.After every 15-20 days I usually flushed coco pots to put out of the shits. Learned from LA OG kush 01 nutrient lock out which took 2-3 weeks and plant never get recovered. I Never had totally dry cocos, trying to keep it moisture. I spotted enough milky trichomes on buds to start "two" weeks ripening with FINAL PART from Terra Aquatica. Wedding cake had less milky trichomes than OG´s. It seems to be too early but trichomes give me answer on that question. I´m not follow stated flowering time on website of seed supplier. Because when I do I would have 90% of amber trichomes which is for immortal zombies not for me I think. Defoliation was in 1 week of flower and sometimes cut leaves here and there to ensure more light for bottom buds.
I spotted on WC about 20% amber trichomes combinated with milky 65% and clear trichomes 15%. It´s time to harvest. LA OG kush 01 got 5-10% amber trichomes on buds, LA OG Kush 02 got 0-5% amber trichomes so it´s almost synchronically. So tomorrow I´m starting flushing with FLASH CLEAN by Terra Aquatica. But due to find more amber trichomes on WC than I expected it could be only 1 day of flushing (2 days recommended) and after this at least 48 hours of total dark and then chop-chop. I decided to put all plant on hooks somewhere in the middle of tent, it depends on humidity and terms in tent. During dark before harvest I will tried to keep humidity as close as 35% and temperature under 19,5°C but above 15,5°C. Out there is winter so it will not be problem tho.
Shown weight is for dry buds without leaves. In total 138g. LA OG Kush 02 taste really good after week drying and week curing and feels like after sativa, so going further. Wedding cake hits hard man, makes my thoughts letting go. LA OG Kush 01 taste little bit worst than I expected, more earthy, but she doesn´t give a single f*ck, hits hard. Taste is "heavy" smooth but after proper curing it will be better in my opinion. But in general, I still have to learn a lot things ,stop making repeated mistakes during growth and try to achieve better yields and experience. Thanks for being here. Good luck guys.
After 48h in total dark (19-20°C, 40-50RH) cutting the plant 2-3cm above coco surface. Hanging the plants upside down and drying. Only one fan was turned on, half performance, directed into the floor, so letting the air slowly rising to touched the buds. Drying at 56-60%RH ffor 6 days. After that process, trimmed leaves from buds and put into the jars for curing. I have 62% Boost Integra bags for controling humidity in jars. Every 12 hours open the jars for 5-10 minutes for next maybe month, maybe more.
Tha same model, two different look and tastes. Interesting. I Like to smoke bit purple one, she´s hitting humble and than boom, without question punished you and you trying to catch the breath😄
