Blue Dream - DWC - First Grow Ever

Spunky86 First grow EVER! Most of my time has been spent setting up the system and getting the water ph and solution right and learning about how things flow. Let’s be honest; im really anxious/excited about this grow bc I have a really hard time keeping anything alive that doesn’t have a heartbeat. The girls spouted a few days ago. Here’s to a successful first grow.

Spunky86 the kids are 2 weeks old now... - water temp holds 66-69 degrees - air temp holds around 72 - PH holds between 6.3 and 6.5 consistently Two days ago I noticed some spotting in the leaves... my reading is pointing me in the direction of a nute deficiency? I did a resivoire flush/water change and added cal-mag a time 1/4 strength. HOPEFULLY the girls like it!

Spunky86 Ok... so I am thinking that I still have something off. Nute deficiency’s? There is growth but discoloration in the leaves. 😔 Between last week and this week, I flushed the resivoir and added fresh cal-mag at 1/4 strength. Advice welcomed- please and thank you!

Spunky86 So... I struggled this week bc I have been an epically bad plant parent for my girls and was essentially starving them 🤦‍♀️ A flush was done and they got a 1/4 strength dose of some nutes.... I am sooooo pleased with the results and the level of support I got from everyone ... fingers crossed for continued progress for the gals! Two steps forward, one step back 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Gotta learn somehow.

Spunky86 I’m pretty sure my girls are still recovering from my massive plant parent fail where I was actively starving them 😳🤦‍♀️ I’m actually very pleased with their continued growth even though I have tested them BIG time. There will no doubt be a few weeks added to our process bc of my errors but they are alive And I’ll take it!

Spunky86 Did massive feeding and added some root stuffs... roots looks phenomenal... girls have really turned around for the better after essentially being starved and given the incorrect ph for the first several weeks... understandably we will be a but behind schedule but they are doing well for now!

Spunky86 We switched to 12/12 last week and boom shack akalaka these baby’s are taking off like wildfire!!! 💕 working on my scroging ... roots are so impressive... white, long, thick and tons of branches ... thank you to all the people who helped me get them through their tough patch when I starved them 😳

Spunky86 It’s kind of difficult to gauge the height since I’ve been doing the scrog ... but she is beautiful 😍 I have to actively stop myself from being an umbrella parent and checking the rent All the time.
