Her smell is strong, she has a sweet, not strong sweet, smell to her, she smells more skunky than anything, she is getting thicker and thicker, flushing with water only still. Important week, waiting for hairs to get a bit more darker all around, then chop. Some diaries say 8 weeks, some say 9 weeks, but I will chop due to my preferences. She still will be a really good grow either way. Starting out I was feeding her rain water with small amount of nutes during week 4, but she responded well to chopping and defoilation. Really amazing plant!! Can't wait to smoke her!
53 days in flower, I was checking pistils, but then I got a phone and magnify and started looking at trichs. I see milky white and amber color trichs, she could be ready to chop per my preference, don't want her to be a too much of a downer. Mind you at the start of flowering I triggered 12/12 for the first week, week 2 I triggered flowering for 11.5/12.5 dark, the middle of flowering I triggered a 11/13 dark and then beginning of this week triggered a 10/14 dark period. My dark periods were increasing through flowering, so therefore I lose some yields, but gain a pretty good amount. Being a sativa strain, i wanted to speed it up a lil, but not too drastic. It seemed like it did the trick, like this could be where I need to chop her at. A good 50-60% pistils are brown and all trichs are cloudy/milky and a few here and there amber, no clear trichs in sight. I will chop her in the morning. By triggering more dark hours during the flowering time made this lil lady done a lil sooner.
