All 3 Durban Poisons were duds (old seeds) plus one Borealis. Down to 8 seedlings.
Cold temps may have stunted some growth (couple nights of -40°C weather got it down to 14°C in the tent). Overall healthy and putting on growth, adapting to new light still (set at 50-60% for now, ~320ppfd)
Cold overnight temps (16-17°C) are definitely slowing things down, might look at a heater this week. Some early signs of chlorosis in a couple that could be from pH as the tap water was harder than I thought. Light set at 50%, 330-400ppfd
Gave a good feeding of 5.1.1 fish juice that had a low pH and they seemed to like it so we'll see the effects this week. Stems are sturdy and will respond well to LST. Planning to top a couple (if they ever get big enough) and keep one of the runts in the tiny pots for funsies.
8 Jan: Struggling with low temperatures overnight and keeping humidity in check (one night down to 9°C 😬). Finding the right settings this week.
11 Jan: Got temp and hum under control by the looks of it, new humidistat and heater working well. All 4 main pots have a plant in them, earlier transplants have taken well. Two plants will get LST and two will get topped, for science!

First topping, LST is working well.
First signs of pre-flowers forming, one probable male so far but its in a small pot still.
Chopped first confirmed male, one more possible male and 2 possible female.
Main growth tips are established, at least 2 females confirmed with one possible. Continuing with LST, might top one more.
One or two more weeks of veg and lots of water then I'll think about 12/12.
Had a couple casualties this week, one herm and one male snipped. Down to 3 plants but I'm not all that sad about it! Going to have some nice little shrubs.
Battling fungus gnats that came in from a plant I got from a friend 😠
Thinking of flipping lights in the next 5 days. Signs of a P and/or K excess so flushing for a couple days before flower nutes.
