I felt so bad seeing 2 of my sativa girls grows overtook one of my old purple punch haha imagine being bullied by 2 monstrous sativa dominant hybrid. I am attempting 2 purple punch seeds this time to give this indicas chance to strive with no sativa bullies. 🤣

Both of them Purple Punch sprouted. Surprised me that, within 24hours in glass of water she showed her root. Will let her veg from now on, as for this grow i am experimenting a fully organic grow without big-bud. Damn it big bud, i wish you are organic hahaha🙃. As for the soil, i doubt there is enough nutes for her to grow so i am going to top dress with bat guano.

As i expected, both Purple Punch babies did tipped over from light stretching and strong breeze of wind from my fan. Also the light coverage is at 20inch mainly because 3 huge autoflowers are also in the 2x4 tent. Not worrying much because stems are strengthening in about 2months when i harvest some of the autos, then i will lower the lights just in time for topping and lst. Since this is a fully organic attempt grow, i only top dressed with chicken manure and feeding diluted onion peel and banana peel compost tea with self collected garden earthworm castings.

The light stretch last week didnt affect much as i assumed. The tipping made a recovery shooting up finding the light source up above 19inch, for SF the best hanging height for veg is 12-18inch so the only thing i can do is wait patiently to harvest some senior autos and then start veg process. Only nutes in the soil is chicken manure with garden microbes. Very little P and K so will be top dressing with bat guano soon.

Very different results from this 2 purple punch. One of them is next to a 94 day old autoflower, so those big round indica leaves are surely blocking the light, the other one is next to a 94 day old sativa and has no light stretch. Hahaha what a experiment to get my grow germination schedule right. Once 1 or 2 senior autos have been harvested then it is time to Lst them girls and FIM them all the way. Since this is my first grow using 3gallon pot and garden soil, i cannot wait to see the buds formation in this grow.

Organic growing is super fun, i removed one senior auto and immediately started to train this 2 babies, one is overly tall from light stretch, the other purple punch is looking small and steady. Once topped, i will FIM weekly, results are great so far, will be top dressing with bat guano in 2weeks to kickstart the preflower.

Babies are well flowering, i wonder what the bud structure will look like without big bud nute, super curious to see the formation. Trellis are doing their work no longer doing LST and fimming to avoid plant stress.

Both babies are doing okay, the one which suffered light stretch during seedling shows more yellowing, i am assuming the nutrients are being used to strengthen the stems as they are developing flowers. The other plant is thriving with no yellowing. As for plant maintanance, i am removing popcorn buds by clearing all flowering sites below the trellis.

The purple punch which suffered light stretch is yellowing, the stems are thin comparing to the other purple punch. What surprises me is the fact the yellowing plant forming colorful purple colors I cant wait to see the bud formation because this 2 grows are fully organic.

Pheew, 2 different results going on, very interesting to see very different results. The sickly yellow plant(centre) looks sick i am assuming many factors are involved. I have listed out the potential error which caused the plant to yellow much faster compare to the other healthy purple punch. Here is my ADHD mind self figuring out😄. 1) Light stretch during seedling-2weeks. Energy to form strong branches, i guessed this because this plant released trichomes before the other. Way too fast. 2) PH pen- Time to change to a new one, PH fluctuations could also be another reason. 3) Top dressed bat guano too much- they are highly soluble i read, so the plant yellowed and burnt off crispy. The other purple punch is looking solid with so many white pistils coming out. This plant did not yellow as fast as the other( centre plant). I will be targetting to harvest in 5 weeks time maybe more depending on the trichomes. Cant wait to see this fully organic grow.

Trichomes are everywhere around this 2 purple punch. The middle plant is more frosty due to the nutrient feeding stress( bat guano powder topdressed). Most of the fan leaves have burnt off crispy but the sugar leaves are not disturbed. I will be watering plain PH water once a week to stimulate draught and humidity and temperature down. I noticed that when the plant is in stress mode during mid flowering, trichomes tend to form fast i guess it is the defence mechanism. The genetics from my local nation is top notch. The centre plant i am keeping a 2week time frame to harvest if the sugar leaves yellow soon.

The terpenes attack are intense, super strong citrus pungent at this stage which indicates plant is ripening its trichs. My watering is twice a week with 500ml compost tea and 1.5L water only. The frost and smell is amazing. As for the burnt off leaves, i did defo but i was lazy to trim more of the burnt leaves. So i am going to leave them there because they drop off easily and is not inside the buds

Super happy seeing the organic grow attempts outcome. 1 plant(visible purple) was half chopped. The other half is left to ripe longer to achieve 50%amber50%milky. 1 Purple punch is super huge, milky trichomes but still no amber and there are some foxtailing. Little purple hues in this baby but the other plant has purple patches forming around. I chopped half of one plant to dry also to experiment milky trichomes cerebral high. As for plant stress to boost trichs, i have given them 1) an ice bath and watering temperature 8°c for 2 days back to back. 2) Shaking the plant after half harvest. 3) Snapping leftover stems/branch to supercrop. 4) supercropping 2 popcorn colas/bending them gently 5) 36hours darkness and lights are back on after to finish stored energy. As for the other monster plant, i will be extending her harvest to 2weeks to achieve 120days since seedling.

Amazing strain and easy to grow, this plant is prone to mites, this strain is recommended to those growers who loves purple spots on sugar leaves. Heavy foxtailing but i decided to call this a rat-tailing instead🤣. The trichomes are 10%amber80%milky10% clear. Total days took 108-110 for amber trichomes to form.

Purple punch genetics, i attempted an fully organic grow and i achieved success in overall. My organic ammendments were 1) EM1 bacteria 2) Earthworm castings 3) freshly caught sea fish waste water( Fish blood+ skin)water 4) pure bat guano(5N:18P:5K:2Mgo) 5) Onion peel compost tea(check out my recipe in Veg mode. 6) Decarbed banana peel crushed powder 7) Aloe vera EM-AS This nutrient feed was easy to get and everything was a by-product of kitchen compost turn into compost tea. A great grow instead i am happy to see these positive outcomes. The smell of this items will stink ,most growers will find the smell unbearable but i see absolute win because of the carbon filter and the smell goes of within 2 days. I am going to measure the outcomes once the buds are dried.
