Soil mix:
25 litres of compost
27 litres homemade worm castings
8 Cups Perlite
8 Cups Vermiculite
2 Tbsp Seaweed extract 3-4-1
2 Tbsp Bat guano 3-10-1
2 Tbsp Rose food 5-6-12
2 Tbsp Blood, fish and bone 5-5-6
1 Tbsp Mychorazae
1 Tbsp Powdered egg shells
I made the soil batch above 1 month before using it. I watered it with aerated compost tea that had been brewing for 24 hours (4 litres rain water, 25g worm castings, 25g compost, 25 ml molasses) and left it.
Top dressed with additional nutes but overdid it. I removed the top 1 inch of soil, replaced it with worm castings and watered each plant with 2 liters of rain water. BC1 was topped once.
I was doing LST to BC2 and it snapped the stem leaving the top 3 inches of the plant hanging down. I cut it off and rubbed fresh Aloe vera gel on the cut and let it air dry.
BC1 defoliated. Both spread out a bit more under the net and 12/12 light cycle started.
Top dressed with worm castings, 1/2 table spoon bat guano, 1/2 tablespoon Flower feed.
2 litres of rain water with 1 tea spoon epsom salts mixed in (1 litre each)
I've defoliated them and moved a few of the braches back under the net.
BC2 (left) is 8 weeks 3 days old (24/1)
BC1 (right) is 9 weeks 3 days old (24/1)
I've watered them with the following:
200g worm castings & compost (50/50)
5ml FFJ
30ml Molasses
4 litres of rain water
Brewed for 36 hours
Given 1 1/2 litres each
Split the stuff in the bag and top dressed both plants.
