MYSTERY BAG SEED 5000

So, here we are lol. This is a random seed that was given to me who knows when. I germinated it for a laugh, no idea what it is and had no idea if it were female or male... until about a week ago when it started showing preflowers - hooray! I can't flower it in my main tent as the light schedule for that is 20/4 - for my autos. So I've put her in my propagation tent (put on its side so its taller), there's only just enough room. I'm using a shitty 45watt LED that I sometimes use for seedlings. I've had it in the small tent for a few days and its not complaining so far. I'm using a small 4" fan that is usually used as a supplementary inline fan for larger tents, I'm using it as an extractor fan... it's not the best but it works for now, I've got it on the same timer as the lights - 12/12 - so it doesn't wear out too quickly. I will probably have to figure something else out eventually as it doesn't keep the humidity low enough but it'll do for now. It's 78 days old hahah, it's been topped, defoliated and heavily trained. By the looks of it, it'll have a really even canopy... I'm quite excited to see how this turns out! I've been feeding it nutrients on a pretty random basis, I'll start doing it properly now. The Air Pot is obviously too small for her, but there's not enough space in the tent to go any bigger, I actually don't know how big it is... maybe 1 gallon? well I mean, there probably is enough space but that would make her grow bigger, then i'd probably end up running out of space.

Total Day 85 Flowering Day 8 She's responded well to 12/12, looking way more lush and really healthy. Pretty proud of this plant tbh. I'm almost tempted to buy a 100watt LED to help it grow better. Lots of long preflowers, slowly going into proper flowers... exciting! Not much else to say, oh I fed it bloom nutes, 1.5ml of each. MID WEEK UPDATE: I was curious to see how much power the LED panel actually used, turns out its only around 23watts! not nearly enough. So I've bought a new light, a 100watt Pro Grow UFO LED, it seems to be a really nice light, proper spectrum with added red and far red, really nice construction. I'm happy :) I had to tape it up slightly higher than the clip had it because it was reading way too many LUX (my meter went blank because there was too much lol), now it's reading between 60-75,000LUX, which is the maximum... I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do when it flowers properly, just have to hope it'll be okay. I also fed them some more nutes, I've found that the recommended doses aren't enough. She's coming along nicely, I'm excited to see how she'll react to the better light. Depending on how this light goes, I may get another and use them both in my main tent. So far I'm not impressed with the 250watt I bought. (another) MID WEEK UPDATE - 23/01 Buds are starting! (see photos)

Total Day 92 Flowering Day 15 She's loving the new light, entering into proper flowering now. I'm a bit worried she'll get root bound and die halfway through because of how long I left it before flowering, but we'll see. She's drinking about a letter every 3 days already. I'm feeding her nutes every water too, no sign of nute burn. Can kiiiinda see the beginning of trichomes, a thin dusting lol. No big calyx's yet though. I'm sure they'll appear soon. Pretty hard to take good photos too, I've uploaded a mix of before and after a hair cut. I've been trimming the inner leaves so the light can get to the buds better. The new light has been great for getting humidity down, previously I was worried because it was staying in the mid 70s with the old light, now its late 50s early 60s. Perfect.

Total Day: 100! Flowering Day: 23/24 Disclaimer: I took these photos yesterday Everything seems to be going well, 100 days old today! crazy. She's getting thirstier, watering every 24-36 hours. Nutes every 2nd or 3rd watering. Sadly I snapped one of the main stems later on last night after taking these photos :( I was trying to push the pegs down further as the buds are getting a bit too close to the light... and snap :( was a 50-75% break so I'm not holding my breath that it will reattach especially this late into flower, but I've taped it up regardless. Fingers crossed!

Total Day: 107 Flowering Day: 30/31 She's looking great, so happy with how this is turning out :) the broken stem is fixing itself up nicely, phew! Getting nice and sticky, easily the stickiest strain i've grown, really wish I had taken a clone. The smell is great too, nice the usual sweet fruit, this is more of a 'fake' lemon/lime with heaps of spice? hahah, its definitely odd but I like it. Quite a bit of light burn sadly, but there's so way around that unfortunately. Hopefully it doesn't get too much worse. I reckon she'll be done in 3-4 weeks :)

Sadly I've had to cut this one short. I think the stress of being in a small pot, being 100+ days old, being so close to the light, and having some really hot days in a small tent, has caused her to hermi. Hard to take pictures but you can see it in the top light bleached buds. The seed sacs are just starting through the buds as well though. I think I've managed to make this somewhat salvageable by chopping when I did. I'll be using this mostly for edibles. A shame tbh, was starting to look and smell really good. Weighed in at around 80gms wet, it was a quick and lazy weigh though. It was a tiny plant so I'm not really worried about weight. I though I had changed the light in this diary, maybe not. It was a 100watt UFO LED, not the "45watt" board I used at the beginning. She's looking pretty sad in these photos because I went out for the day and didn't realise she desperately needed watering. I'm dry trimming for the first time too. I cut the bigger fan leaves off though. Looks good.
