I'd say around day 10/11
She's quite stunted because I was dumb and started her in a small pot and transplanted way too early, the soil crumbled in my hand as I was doing it etc. Ah well, she wasn't really doing much but has started to, and hopefully the new lighting set up will help (more blue light). I don't plan on doing any training, just a natural grow.
EDIT 18th Jan - Adding photos of the seedling at actually 2 weeks old. It's finally starting to show some good growth, definitely relieved. The stuff on the leaves is some husks that contain predatory mites, I got them in an attempt to get rid of the thrips, fingers crossed!
Day 21
First feed of nutes yesterday. Not sure why I fed her flowering nutes, I mean she's just started to preflower but yeah... won't hurt, it was only a small feed.
She's doing pretty okay now, small plant but really healthy. The predator mites are camping out under her leaves... there's heaps of them lol. No more thrips!
Nice tight node spacing, just wish she'd grow a bit taller. Ah well. Excited nonetheless.
Day 27
Thrips are back :( stupid me cut off the first set of leaves where all the predator mites were hanging out... i assumed they were dead and the thrip war had been won. Ah well, I've ordered some more which should be here in a couple of days.
She's trucking along nicely though :) the flower stretch has begun. She's not gonna be a big plant but regardless I think she'll bud nicely. Excited to try a new 1:1 strain.
Struggling with humidity levels at the moment, I think it's mostly due to how many pots I have in the tent. Probably going to go back to HPS lighting, or if I can fit it, HPS + LED.
She's had a 1ml feed of flower nutes and is taking it well.
EDIT: I have installed my HPS light again (at 250watt), as well as LED. So a hybrid system. HPS is only on for 12 hours during the night till morning (for power reasons, and heat). It has solved the humidity issue :)
Day 34
She's exploded with growth since going into flower + the new light setup, growing 6.5 inches in a week. I've done some more light LST, just opening up the canopy a bit. As well as some light defoliation to get more light to bud sites.
Feeding bloom nutes every 2nd feed, she's going through about a liter every 4-5 days.
Doesn't like the fan very much, every time I open the tent recently she's been on a big angle (why she looks a bit odd in the photos). I've moved the fan around to hopefully fix this.
Day 44
She's growing fast! stopped stretching and is packing on weight. Super frosty too. Pretty badly damaged by thrips, but she's powering through. I've used some Pyrethrum based spray, I used a paint brush instead of the sprayer, didn't want to burn the pistils. Hopefully it'll keep them at bay until mid-late flower, then I can easily get them manually, when there is less leaves. I'm getting about 6 - 10 a day. Less after the pyrethrum.
Feeding 1.5-2ml every 2nd or 3rd watering. Did some defoliation.
Day 53
She's looking amazing :) really nice smell, nice chunky buds, decent calyx to leaf ratio. Probably my favourite so far. Can't wait to chop, it'll be hard to resist tbh.
Thrips seemed to have finally pissed off, hooray.
Leaves are starting to yellow and die off. I've stopped giving her nutes and will probably flush in the next week or so. I'm guessing another 10 days... I don't want much amber in the trichomes due to the CBD.
Sticky AF
Harvested at 58 days from seed, very impressed at how fast this grow was! Nice sweet smell. If this was a THC dominant strain I would have left it another week or so, but I was seeing a lot of amber trichomes, which apparently degrade CBD... so I chopped.
Currently on day 4 of drying. I've estimated around 30grams dry, based on experience from previous grows. I was hoping for 1.5oz but oh well. I quick dried a bud to sample - still got me decently high even with the CBD, which tbh makes me wonder if it actually is the strain it's meant to be. Herbies hasn't got the best reputation at the moment so I wouldn't be surprised.
