Beginning of the week I kept the watering sparse but tried not to let the Coco get dry. Watering then coming back later to remove the run off. Added a wet towel in a bowl of water about day 3 to increase the humidity in the tent. they seem to be happy and enjoying the environment.
Upped the Nutes this week and reduced the Formulex and experimented a bit with Environmental conditions.
1 - Tested run off of both plants and a Ph of 5.8 has been consistent. But I think I over watered them doing it. the started to droop down and I noticed Nancy, in particular, had darker veins. Did not water again all night.
2 - swapped humidifying Cloth to the other side away from the vent hole. Got 39/40% - Moved back under the vent and increased to 45% in an Hour and a half.
Decided to water light and often, this perked them back up. Big watering can is not suitable atm.
Learned about PAR. Will bring the lights down next week so it sits in the 380 ish range. I heard this is better for Veg.
26/8
Slightly yellow edges with minor leave curling Down at the edges. Realized the Light was 22'' from the Soil and not the canopy, meaning the lights were too close. Hopefully, that should sort it as all other conditions seam Stable.
Looking better at the beginning of the week, laid off feeding for a few days to let Nancy recover as she is still drooping and looking a bit knackered. by the end of the week she perked up and I fed her on sunday
Sorry no photos but that's the way it is for a few weeks
Reduced feed to let them recover more after the nute burn. Took fan settings down also. Started LST, hope it's not too late in the cycle.
Sorry no photos again but they are coming ;-)
This week they both shot up and got stronger. Wendy's broken stem made no difference and the two of them are sucking up nutes. Next weeks feed will be adding cal mag and heavier nutes as i can see pre flower, generative looks. Small white hairs appearing. Started tucking leaves back - scrog is coming too.
Hold on 2 your wigs!
Great week -Colas are getting stronger and more white hairs are coming through now. Wendy is definitely getting ready to pop. Nancy has a cola that has exploded outward - prob chasing the light, may have been too high. Have put the light Very close not, about 5" away. I can hold my hand there so I'm sure they will be fine. I installed the scrog net and spending time each day moving the leaves back and getting those colas in the light.
Any advice? Should I trim the leaves at the bottom now - there is a fair bit and i have to move them aside to feed?
;-)
Another great week, They are both enjoying the new nute schedule. Keeping the light 18" from the canopy is proving tricky as they grow. Its approx 16" and Im gonna try to tame the crazy branch at the back of Nancy. But im feeling good about them so far.Im wondering how long the flower will take ;-)
Hey all, another great week. Wendy is in full flower but Nancy looks a couple of weeks behind. I hope she hasn't been stunted. When I feed her an hour later the leaves are weeping down? Any ideas. thanks, 420People ;-)
Hello fellow Growers
Nancy had been droopy lately after her nute and light burn (Man she's had it tough) so I backed off on the nutes and she seems to be happier now - in fact, I think her buds are putting on weight now - slowly but surely.
Wendy, on the other hand, is Frikn bullet Proof! She's getting fatter and fatter by the day and I'm thinking that I will need to flush soon before the harvest.
Any tips at this point would be really appreciated - it's my first harvest and I wanna do it right ;-)
Peace oooot ;-)
Hey Fellow Growers - peace and Light!
Great week again, Wendy is getting big and phattttt and I am reducing her nutes by half every 2 days and then from this weekend, I will begin the week flush to harvest.
Nancy has recovered nicely from her nute burn, light burn and other trauma's ;-) She is looking great, buds are getting bigger and looking like she is about 2 ish weeks behind her sister.
Wendy flush week, she looks great and is starting to get the orange bits ;-)
Nancy has put weight on her buds but all her leaves are going yellow? That one has been through the wars on this grow, im going to give her another week before the flush as i think she is just behind wendy.
Nearly harvest time - very exciting.
Comments and suggestions always welcome Guys - Should i be worried about all those yellow leaves?
Peace
Moved the Ladies into the new bigger room, they seem to be enjoying it so far. There's more humidity which is worrying me slightly with Wendy in the middle of her flush and ready to pop. I'm sure it will be fine.
As you can see the yellow leaves on Nancy are really evident - a mixture of light burn, nute burn probably. She has been through a few tough times but she smells wonderful and the buds are looking healthy and getting bigger.
So - any ideas Boys and Girls? Should I defoliate in Wendys last week to get those little colas at the bottom fed up more light?
Should I cut all the fkd Yellow leaves on Nancy, or has she suffered enough stress ;-)
Peace ooot
Just a short one as The last 2 weeks have flown by. The harvest went great and they are hanging nicely. I will post once more with some video I took after I edit it together ;-)
Wendy took 3 harvests to complete as she was rather large. Nancy is halfway harvested.
My next post will be the closer on a Great project. Looking forward to the next one
Wendy has a Delicious flavor, very aromatic. Buds were big but airy. A longer drying time needed so they are gonna go back into the dry cupboard and I'll give her another few days then back in the curing jar. More of a night time but good for more quiet relaxation.
The community has been so encouraging and I appreciate all your feedback. I have created a little Farewell Video, hope you like it. ;-) will post on the Nancy (White Widow) Harvest
Nancy has a very uplifting feel to the smoke. creative and Talkative. Got way more than I thought ;-)
She had more nutrient and heat burn issues, plus she suffered a breakage early in flower. A tough cookie - She bounced back with strength and vigor. ;-)
