First off, thank you! This site has helped me immensely!
Our second successful grow and it’s just becoming easier. Just converted closet in spare bedroom into a small grow space. Using multiple size pots and trying different things.
The nutrients we are using have prevented any unwanted issues and have made for a very simple grow. I had a slight PH issue early on (my bad for switching dopplers for dosing nutrients and failed to recalibrate dosage) -easy fix.
As a newer grower, the biggest thing I can stress is check you PH and invest in quality nutrients and soil. It will payoff in overall quality and yield.
The Flora-Grow by General Hydroponics is unreal and plants love it during the veg stage.
This in addition to Flora micro and Flora bloom with Cal-MAg has helped me with the results you see.
Wow, the ladies continue to fatten up nicely. I gave them a trim to expose lower bud sites and she responded! They have been soaking up the PH water and I can tell they are more thirsty now with massive bud growth. I placed a small space heater in grow room and think the plants definitely like the warmer mid 70’s versus the upper 60’s, buds getting more dense and much more sticky. Very frosty. About 25% of hairs have turned brown and monitoring daily. Once it gets to approximately 75% brown pistils, I will start to keep an eye on trichomes. Still trying new things to find my grow rhythm, but happy with results. I like how buds are so tight and attribute it to better defoliation which enables better light penetration.
Still new at this, so what am I missing? Any tips or tricks you could give a new grower are also greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
The girls continue to move closer to harvest and started showing signs of a fade. Tricomes still less than 25% Amber so she still has some time by my estimation? Buds are continuing to swell. I just give the PH water at this point.
It seems some of the laggards took the week to catch up and show some nice development. Continue to see nice swelling and thinking it’s pretty close to harvesting .
She’s definitely back to vegging after producing a solid six ounces. Never have seen a plant re-veg but I’m rolling with it in hopes I’m soon rolling it!
This re-veg is unreal. The plant doubled in size in the last week to ten days and looks like it’s gonna be monstrous. I hadn’t planned this and now need a friend to watch her when I go on vacation. Sad the biggest plant I’ve ever grown was by accidental re-veg after a nice 6 oz harvest.
Continues to just let her do her thing. Plant is in the midst of a re-veg of the likes I’ve never seen. This plant is huge and drinks upwards to 3 gallons of water per day. Wasn’t planning on growing since I have a vacation in about a month.
