To view previous weeks check out my other journal I made using this strain as well as an autoflower strain OG Kush. PDS - First Try https://growdiaries.com/diaries/15274-pds-first-try 5 Weeks in and I finally have a stable environment in my grow tent. Heat issues were a problem during the first couple of weeks but running the intake vent directly to one of the AC ducts in the room has fixed the issue and keeps temps in the low 80s during the day instead of the low 90s. Seeds were planted July 24th so I would say these have been in Veg about ~2 weeks now. I plan on keeping them in veg longer than I would have since they are sharing a tent with autoflowers which I was unaware recommends 18/6 throughout their growth. Will not be making that mistake again after this harvest but for now will just have to deal with the autos getting less than the recommended amount of light for about a month and a half. For those of you following my previous journal I started doing mainline training on my 2 Misty Kush plants last week. Typically not a recommended technique for a first time grower but I always like to go big or go home. Misty Kush #1 - Has completed its mainline training with 8 main stalks from 2 toppings. While still quite small all stalks appear to be recovering nicely and are all working on their second nodes. Have had few issues with this plant. Misty Kush #2 - This plant suffered from too much stretching in its first week and had some unusual bending which caused it to develop quite a bit slower than its sister. Using a straw to support the plant did help the plant to recover but left it several days behind as far as growth. Because of this, this plant has only been topped twice but should be ready to finish its mainline within the next 24-48 hours.

Started seeing some signs of nutrient burn after being told I was using too strong a solution so I have backed off and started using a new feed schedule. Due to sharing space with autoflowers I plan on keeping these in veg for another 2 - 4 weeks while the autos get closer to harvest. Misty Kush #1 - I have done very little to this plant since finishing topping it for the mainline. I am occasionally seeing some small brownspots on a few of the leaves that look like a minor calcium deficiency. It only appears on a small number of leaves. Raised the PH a little to 6.2 to try to help with calcium absorbtion. Misty Kush #2 - Finished its third set of toppings last week and has been recovering nicely.
