I’ve got three Sativas outside all experiments. Two were topped early. One twice and one once. One I let grow to the 6th node and topped like a regular person 🙉🙈🙊 Planted in July very end of winter time.

These plants have gotten fairly large in their pots it’s only early in the year so still lots of time to grow ;)

They’ve rooted out of the pots! The roots out the bottom are thicker than some of the indoor plants stems just in awe of their ability to grow I think I’ll need to build a bigger house for them and start to HST these girls before I get into trouble I can barely see the roof of the dome anymore so so happy to see such abundance

A bigger dome is on the list of things to build I need to allow more room for these absolute Trees to sprawl out. I never imagined they would get this size and this is all before pre-flower stretch I don’t even know what to expect when she starts This is honestly a dream I’ve accidentally created a forest! so much good quality organic medicine to keep me happy all year

It’s like you blink and you miss it these girls went into pre-flower stretch and absolutely filled the bloody dome. Emergency greenhouse construction underway to let them breathe ! They’ve grown all twisted and bushy at the top from trying to grow through the net a tough call but had to be made either cut it all back or build a bigger house. It’s clear I did the right thing haha

I had a big catastrophe 🤦‍♂️🏽 the dome was tricky to dismantle from around those bushy plants on my own. Because they were Veg’n in the dome they grew tall, every armall supported each other so each stem could grow tall without falling over and the tops became bushy making them very top heavy Over night with some rain and also without the aid of the dome I coped some serious damage. I sadly awoke to full arms laying on the ground semi snapped some bent and splintering at the weak spots 😭 I quickly finished the enclosure and began work picking up the arms glad wrapping them and splicing conduit around with zip ties in order to help keep them upright in hopes of saving them. 4 tree-like arms in total unsure about two hopeful for the other two In the process of all this 🤦‍♂️🏽 🤦‍♂️🏽 🤦‍♂️🏽 I realise one of the three big bastards has decided it’s going to be a hermaphrodite, being so bushy and buried in the dome I didn’t notice!!! After 6 months of solid love and care I cut he/her down for the greater good. Now watching the other two closely incase they get any ideas but after thorough inspection and clinical removal of the culprit I’m in good hopes that the remaining two are all the way female. Sneaky lil photo of the Uncle Dave’s fig jam indica that I started a few months after the sativas she’s gone to flower and looking mighty fine 👌🏽 thought I’d post to alleviate the pain of losing a whole tree and several branches of two other trees in the process of doing something “good” for the girls. Anyway I think I’ve done everything I possibly can for the Sativas 🤞🏽

I’ve lost two of the four arms I was trying to save 😢 one snapped clean and the other is standing dead. No worries cause there is plenty left to take care of! I’ve built a 4.8m x 4.8m x 3.0m enclosure and now that I’ve splayed everything out there’s barely any room to move again haha absolutely loving it 🌴 I’ve stripped a good 1.5m of bottom plant material clean of side branches and foliage partially for energy distribution and airflow but also partially to bring the obvious foliage above the neighbouring properties tree line now if anyone peeks over they should see a bunch of sticks instead of a forest of sticky :p They are definitely in flower I think I’m at the end of pre-flower stretch. They’ve reached the top of the enclosure so I’ve pulled most of the tall arms over and I think they’ve stopped reaching meaning the next few weeks should produce some fun material to post up Thanks everyone for following along

The outdoors are going great at the moment other than a few yellowing lower leaves. I corrected with a nitrogen booster (mainly blood and bone meal I think) and also hit them with some rock phosphate, manure, compost, earth worm castings, bio-char, and epsom salts for a magnesium kick, the yellowing should fade in the next week and I’m thinking they’ll have everything they need for flower. I mixed all that, top dressed the ground around the bottom of the pots (they’re well and truly rooted in the ground) and topped up the pots with the rest. Looking forward to a good yield out there it has been raining lately, humidity is up but I’m sure the week of sunshine coming up will correct any issues trouble is they’ve gotten so think at the top it’s hard to splay everything out in an optimal way, I’m slowly working through the branches bringing heads down and airing the more bushy sections out. Other than that I’m a little concerned about insects I’m seeing lots of fungus gnats but i have been using eco-neem so I’ll continue to foliar spray thoroughly, soil drench and hope for the best 🤞🏽

Far out I’ve gone through nearly all of it haha great high, lasts a long time, smells amazing, a bit of a harsh taste but overall worth growing.

They took a long time to grow and mature 10 months in all. They produced amazing flowers with a genuine high. Left a lot to be desired in flavour profile however not awful to smoke. Would grow again for sure as they were a high yielding, ‘set and forget’ type of strain easy and resilient enough to grow and highly impressive to see grown outdoor.
