@Cyrusdavirus, thanks heaps for the tip dude! I was in and out of the enclosure all day eradicating the little buggers I left several chickens in the enclosure to wreak a bit of havoc 🐓 they smash everything but they’ve thoroughly fertilised the area and got a heap of grass hoppers I fed them the few caterpillars I found but definitely not in plague proportion I’ll just have to keep an eye out to make sure I don’t run into any of these dramas you speak of 😬 haha thanks a bunch for the information mate! I learned In a short time what some growers may take a lifetime to figure out just from people lending their experience. If you’re willing to listen you can gain 40 year’s experience in a fraction of the time I really appreciate the advice mate cheers 🍻✊🏽
@StoneJackson, be very careful with those damn caterpillars those bastards will lay eggs in your flowers and when they hatch the babies eat the inside of the buds and shit in there which causes bud rot.I don't mean to scare you but I've lost entire plants to the little bastards. What you have to look for is dying sugar leaves, it will just be spots on like one side of a bud and or any grayish color in the buds themselves
The aphids are a pain. Ladybugs will help. My local nursery carries them
@Cyrusdavirus, it’s been amazing to watch the differences between indoor and outdoor growing all the same seeds (random sativa - random indica) just different growing environments.
The plants outside have needed nothing to get where they are just rain water when it comes naturally and tap water otherwise. They’ve rooted outside the pots and those roots are thicker than my indoor plants stems !
Mother natures symbiosis has been a shield of protection for the outdoor plants no disease, no pests, no temp regulation or feeding schedule I’ve only had to deal with caterpillars and grasshoppers doing some leaf damage but they’ve got so many solar panels I haven’t even worried about it. The buds on the outdoor indica easily rival the indoor I grew and I can’t see her getting aphids like the indoor did (still battling the little bastards)
I actually captured a praying mantis and threw him in the tent cause they seem to be doing a good job guarding the outdoors 👌🏽
