🔧 Custom Built Dunnage Rack

Custom built dunnage rack for a grow watering table. Shelves are epoxy coated. The restaurant supply store I buy from does not have a ready made dunnage rack of this size, so I had to piece one together. The 2 shelves, posts, and casters cost me about 150 USD / 140 EUR before shipping.
🔧 Design the Size of the Table on the Shower Pan

Since show pans are weird sizes and there are many size shelf available, I recommend finding the shower pan first
I could have shopped around for a cheaper used shower pan, but I had done it in reverse and was impatient. I bought one at a local store for a painful 190 USD / 177 EUR.
🔧 Advantages

I have a large tent and have the room inside the tent.
I take far better care of my plants when they are waist high compared to on the ground. With a roll around "mechanic's stool", I sit eye level with the plants making inspection easier, LST, and all important Grower's Gaze™️
I prefer the Syn-Ganics approach with soil growing for taste, but hand watering soil is a messy affair. As a bonus, implementing automated soil moisture monitoring and watering will be far easier with this table
The ability to move the plants around easily for access to rear of the tent.

Great Idea👍. You are very handy in making functional equipment. Men just have a knack for this sort of thing. I agree raising the plants reduces back breaking bending and lifting.
Great looking setup 😍😎 I built some little things I am calling wheelies (look under my ladies) they lift my plants just a few inches and I love it so I'm sure you getting them up that high is going to be great 👍 then the ease of moving them on wheels is a great back saver 4sure
Yeah it's all about the Grower's Gaze. I can't tell you how many times I have just sat there and stared and it's a lot easier to gaze at eye level. I keep seeing all these pictures of plants on the floor and keep thinking "how much time total are they actually spending down on the floor with these plants?"
I previously had a dunnage rack for each my plants, but having them all easily drain into a trash can is D-O-P-E.

@Natrona, at lot of guys I know couldn't twist two wires together to save their own life lol. I just happen to be both mechanically minded and a habitual daydreamer.
