The Rockwool solution has PH 5,2 EC 0,4.
After one day of diving solution has PH 6,4 and EC 0,5... so wrung out the rockwool cube and sowed.
After 3 day the plant sprouts from the cube.
The first leaves didn't develop much but the phyton was thick and long outside the cube... let's see how the first week of vegetative behavior behaves.
At the end of the first week it seems Gioia is growing a bit faster. After adding a fan the trunk has begun to grow stronger.
The only thing that confuses me is that it has a very light color.
Normal...not quite but definitely not a problem my friend. It's just a pigment mutation.
If you look at my lilac diesel diary you'll see she has quite the case of it as well.
Some plants grow out of it. Some don't. It's definitely not your light.
Hope this helps.
Instead of cutting the top I decided to try bending it and it seems to be working quite well. There are several branches coming up from below. I cut off the thick leaves that blocked the light. I made the switch to 12 hours of light, reducing the hours of light by two hours per day
The first pistils popped up on a crown so I replaced the VEGA solution with the FLORA one and added the booster. I also turned on the last led strip for flowering.
I dosed a little less fertilizer than necessary to give the plant time to adapt to the new nourishment and avoid overloading it.
I'm continuing to prune the leaves and twigs that sprout under the net every day. While I cut the bulkier leaves that cover the other flowers above the net.
I think I counted 23 flowers... I trust in a good harvest...
The flowers are developing in all the crowns that reach the light... unfortunately I could not get all the branches to reach the same height ... hope they grown the same 😇
I'm removing almost all the leaves around the buds and all the leaves underneath. I leave only the upper ones and those with the stem too short.
Flowers are not growing as expected... lets see if we need more than other 2 weeks... at day 74 I began to reduce nutrient in the solution cause it seems the plants are not absorbing much nutrient more. Just before emptying the tank the EC value had grown up to 2.7...
