First off, this is my first time trying cuttings.
I read an article about monster cropping and decided to give it a try. The cuttings were taken roughly 3-4 weeks ago from the Glookies in my other diary. Strangely enough all of them made it and even after giving some away, I ended up with six. I decided to transplant 3 of them onto bigger cubes and will choose which one will make it into the flower tent in 2-3 weeks. The other three I will try to turn into little bonsai glookies and tack them separately.
The two plants on the very right have already been topped, as I didn't like the growth (they started to stretch weirdly), however all 3 of them should end up with 6-8 main colas if I don't top any further. I plan to scrooge the winner at around 30 cm when put into the big tent. my last one stretched around 25 cm when I flipped her so this time I should be able to even the canopy a bit better.
Stay tuned :)
Plants are developing super nice. LST has been performed on all and have removed the leaves covering the lower shoots. Will continue to train them vertically until one moves into the bigger tent. Rootmats have been installed don all of them and are working fine.
The plants develop super nicely and mostly switched completely back to veg. I have been defoliating and removed all foliage that covered other shoots. One will be moving to the flower tent soon.
I liked her structure best of the clones that I took. So she moved to the big tent and will be flipped into flower once she reaches 30cm. I will install a SCR.O.G. Net and even the canopy during the final stretch. I have adjusted the lamp to plant height, as I am not able to dim my Sanlight.
She took very well to her new environment. I decided to not waste to much time and installed the the ScrOG already. The coming week I will flip her into flower and let her fill the screen. Defoliation was done to enable more light penetration to the lower canopy. The vigor in growth is insane. I believe I will only be working with revegged clones going forward, they may take a little longer to reveg them but the outcome so far is awesome.
She was switched to flower this week, and is starting to stretch through the net. I decide not to let her grow any taller and rather save some time and let her stretch directly through screen, she seems very happy with the nutrients and will continue with this mix until she shows real signs of flower. And then will start the flower solution.
Love growing this strain, simply a join to train her. She is being trained a lot more rigorously than her mother, as I am trying to train her through the screen while she is going through her preflower stretch. First signs of flower are already appearing all over, so let’s see when she will stop stretching. I have gone a lot stronger with the boost this time, while I was a bit more cautious the last time around. The plant however seems to take it very well, not showing any signs of tip burn or malnutrition.
She is developing very nicely, and put in full flower feeding schedule, as the flowers star stretching along the colas. Had a little issue with my pump today, however, a deep cleaning fixed the issue. Defoliated a little here and there, especially below the screen.
She is developing nicely, haven’t really been doing much to her, other than tucking some leaves away. Comparing her to her mothers diary, she is pretty much on par in terms of flower development, maybe even slightly ahead, as I decreased the light distance much earlier.
Hi Growmies,
Again another very uneventful week. The plant is doing what she is supposed to do, getting ready to bulk :) For the coming week PK 13/14 will be added so she can use that to fatten and ripen properly. So far I am quite happy with the results, she is much leaner than her mother and basically only consists of stems and buds.
Strangely enough some friends of mine who took cuttings are actually tickling out a bunch of purple hues on the leaves and buds, wonder if this could be temperature related. Guess I will see once have a temp controlled fan …
Hi Growmies,
She is becoming a monster. This plant is only 18 cm tall and basically consists of stems an buds, by now she has overtaken her mother in terms of bud production, quality and bud volume. I like to believe that the one feeding of pk 13/14 stimulated it even more. As of now the feeding will get less end less, preparing her for ripening. I am a super proud of this little project and it’s outcome and looking forward to cut this beauty down in roughly 3 weeks. Not much more to do but wait.
Nothing to be mentioned, the plants reek like crazy, I cannot keep tent open for too long without stinking up the entire house. Other than that, they are freaking amazing. Will probably start flushing next week, if the trichomes start turning brown. Loving this strain, sooooo strong and tasty and this clone looks even better than the plant.
The plants are developing super nicely. This was the last week of flower nutrients. Coming week will only be cannazym and a bit of boost until Thursday and then 2 days of only water. They are swollen to the max super and have developed a super nice purple Teint. Rock hard and caked to the max :D
