@DabCrab, thanks for your contribution to this Fast Buds diary. Let us step in the discussion as you mentioned the breeders and we are the one involved in this diary, then in your discussion.
We gotta say we are more than thankful and happy with @Tripaholic88's work, skills and behavior. He's one of the most trustful, fair and kind growers we know and his prizes here and in other sites are more than deserved. Also, his dedication, professionalism and passion are outstanding.
Otherwise, we encourage you to make any comment about the strain grown in this Fast Buds diary, please. We haven't been able to read any comment or suggestion regarding this awesome still not released strain.
Any ideas or positive comments will be very welcome by the GD community, by us and by Tripaholic88 himself.
Thanks for your time and attention, bro. Enjoy!
Congrats on the harvest bro ! You can now finally test your work.
To @DabCrab, this is a community where we all have the chance to share our growing experience. Although it is true that it exists a contest where there are awards involved, all @Tripaholic88 awards are from people votes and are not awarded by the gr/watt ratio, at least not directly. Even though you're speaking the truth about the bad using (intentional or not) of the gr/Watt tool, I don't think that @Tripaholic88 must bear the guilt of the wrong use of a tool that almost half of the growers of this site use wrongly as well. More so, he doesn't deserve that you eclipse his harvest post with this "I'm sheriff of the terms of services" crap. So, less of "not to be a hater but..." and get smoking bro... you're definitely in the wrong place to start this stupid polemic. @Tripaholic88 I'm ansious to read your smoking report, so don't you dare cancel that edit because of this nonsense.
I apologize for any redaction mistakes but I'm not a native english speaker.
@nicogm, You agree with me, chastise me, then concur with me again further. Isn't that called 💩 posting? My post very clearly pointed out that even if what you had just suggested was the case, it was still done incorrectly and I described and documented exactly down to within a few 100 watts how it was incorrect. But sure 💩 post some more. @Tripaholoc88 and me literally reached an impasse where he agreed to change his information because it was incorrect and then said that he wasn't actually aware of the real wattage used. I'd say it was a constructive conversation that @GrowDiaries will be making changed to the website based on. Maybe you should have read more before saying anything.
Judging from your diaries you have posted and the setup you are using I have deduced that your tent is running 8 100W LED's that consume 40 - 60 actual watts totaling for at the very least 350 - 400 watts on your LED rack. The two ballast I've seen also consume around 50 watts a piece so thats another 100 watts. Thats at the very least for that. 1 mars hydro Reflector 48 which consumes 100 watts. I've seen 2 Mars Hydro 96 Reflectors which consume 200 watts a piece totaling for another 400 watts. 1 Mars hydro Reflector 192 which consumers 400 watts. That puts your total grow space for this plant and many of your other grows at around 1400 - 1500 watts when you include in the fans shows. Most likely much more power is consumed. I've also seen some of your setup using hydroponics. You need to be adding the wattage into the power consumption as well. Not to be a hater but all of your diaries are very inappropriately calculated in regards to your wattage consumption drastically effecting you Grams/Watt. Even if you were dividing your wattage by the number of plants you are growing at once you are still way way off for your power consumption (which for the record is not what you do, it'd be incorrect to do that). I'm genuinely hoping you have made a consistent and gross error on all of your journals. You are supposedly a top ranked Master grower on this site so I'm genuinely confused as to how no one has mentioned this before..... Section 3 of the terms of service says "If any information that you provide, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that any information that you provide, is false, inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or violates these TOS, any Additional Terms, or any applicable law, then we may suspend or terminate your account. We also reserve the more general and broad right to terminate your account or suspend or otherwise deny you access to it or its benefits - all in our sole discretion, for any reason, and without advance notice or liability."
@Tripaholic88, I will. This site is about being a constructive and educational community teaching people to cultivate their own medicine. Individuals spreading false information about how they do so shouldn't be tolerated by the community and I've met and talked with many individuals who feel the same way. You have several awards which were awarded to you under false pretenses and you do not deserve them. I, yourself, and many other growers know that your diaries are full of false information and at the very least need to be corrected or removed. I don't see what you have to gain from putting this false information other than a few bags of free swag and eventual disgrace of your methods. I highly suggest you re evaluate how you are documenting if you believe your data gathering to be correct.
@Tripaholic88, This diary clearly states that you entered in 50 watts as your power usage. If you had not entered in anything as you have so claimed it would not have a wattage section in the harvest page and you would have a -.- in place of your falsified grams/watt ratio. It's grossly incorrect and can be proven from your own photos. As for your other diaries where you clearly entered in 210 watts as your power consumption you were also incorrect. I have clearly pointed out exactly what is going on here and it's very obvious to many other users on this site. It's obvious enough to merit a response from Grow Diaries staff. You just commented another lie.
@Tripaholic88, I have 3 seeds of this strain, what do you think the levels of thc / cbd is in them? Have you tried it yet and how is the "high"?. I dont like high thc because it makes me "drunk" and i dont like being "drunk" when im medicating.
If its party time its diffrent, then i dont mind to be high or feeling drunk.
So i just wonder if you belive this can be good medicine for someone who does not like getting "drunk"/high and have low tolerance to thc when medicating?
@nicogm, Thank you for telling me. I'm curious about the Cbd Medical Mass (critical mass cbd).
It is a 1: 1 thc / cbd strain with about 9-11% of both thc / cbd.
I think it's a collaboration with cbd crew (my favorite breeder right now) and Royal Queen Seeds. But I could be wrong.
How did that strain work for you?
This is the best thing about Grow Diaries, one learns something new every day.
Thank you so much for the time and effort you and many others spend here to help and educate fellow growers.
@CBD_Sweden, I have chronic pain in one of my knees, after a complicated surgery due to a sports accident six years ago. It's not as bad as it might have been but it's still disabling enough to don't let me live normally. I think most useful strains to handle pain are mostly indicas with known physical effects. I'm talking about Moby Dick, White Widow and OG Kush for example. You let them pass a few weeks from the normal harvest time and you'll have a very powerful sedant. Since CBD and CBN need THC in order to work, growing those powerful strains is what i like the most. Also, I only smoke for pain relief when I'm off work, so the cerebral effects don't bother me at all. The only CBD strain that I have grown is Medical Mass from Royal Queen Seeds so I don't know much about sedative-functional effects, only body stoned-like as the ones i described before. Hope it helps.
The girl looks awsome, going to be interesting to se the weight and your smoke report/strain review.
You have done a great jobb with the girl and the diaries, i like your videos and the pictures are great.
This specific diary is grown under a 400 watt Mars Hydro reflector 192 and about half of the custom LED light bars Trip has made. That means this plant, at the very least, was grown using 600 watts putting the true Grams/Watt at .204 Grams/Watt. Thats at the very least wattage consumption. There are still over 600 more watts over lighting in that tent that is still overlapping the aforementioned grow space as well as reflecting off the mylar.
@Tripaholic88, as I explained your Cobs consume around 40 - 60 watts a piece. Most consume exactly 62 watts but we'll say 60 watts. You have 8 of those so that about 480 watts. Most likely though you are peaking at consuming around 400 watts because they tend to dip their power consumption. Your ballasts also consume electricity that counts as lighting wattage so thats another 50 - 100 watts each for those ballast. They should have their exact consumption of power on their label. You are easily using between 500 - 700 watts to power your DIY Cob fixture. The thing is that if you have any overlap or reflection of any other lights touching your plant you have to factor in that wattage. Your grow space is a massive 4x8 tent. With all your added LED's in there you are consuming way more power than you may think you are. You are in the excess of 1500 - 1600 watts for the tent. Even if you have it sectioned of into two side..... each of your diaries should be using 600 - 800 watts. Also, not to call you a liar but I've seen you using, and have pictures of a 200 watt Mars hydro's as supplemental side lighting and I've seen your 400 watt fixture is right next to your Cob setup in most of your diaries. All of your plants are being grown using about 600 watts of direct lighting electricity.. Watts are watts. if you are consuming the power and it's for lighting it needs to be factored into your grow. You need to calculate your fan usage as well. Now if you were to say be growing all those plants at once, as is very apparent you are, They should all have the same wattage. Power consumption is one of the most important details involving an indoor grow. You've said quite a few contradictory things to me which I'll choose to ignore since this is your first real response. In your own pictures posted it's clear that almost all of your diaries are grown at the same time but they all have different details like you are growing them separately. Some of your pictures clearly show plants from other diaries where you have different wattage usage listed for each. 210 watts is the wrong power consumption for all your listed grows. You are pumping 600+ watts into those plants in your flower space judging from the lights I know you own since you have them featured in a select few pictures. All of your diaries need to have their wattage adjusted so that your entire account shows a lower Grams/Watt ratio that will be truthful. As much as it sucks you don't get to divide wattage by plants. This specific diary I notice that you have videos where the plant is both under a mars hydro light and part of the cob lighting fixture judging from the overall lighting in each video. I'd say this plant was grown under about 500 - 600 watts and needs to be adjusted as such.
@DabCrab, honestly I wish I could just post my pics and what I'm feeding them and if I do any lst ect . The site HAS AND DOES change my nute levels I have noticed to insane numbers like 288.33 ml/gal and belive stuff like that is site related problems. And about the watts issue I put one plant under each cob (4 total using the inner cobs) to germinate and veg and then they get spread out and I fit about 6 plants under my diy fixture in a 4x4 area And to be honest I'm not exactly sure what watts I'm pulling per cob. MAYBE I shouldn't have built one if I don't understand the watts it puts out but so be it, it's a free country so I built one instead of buying one. I only started growing March of 2016 so I'm new to this . Im a stay at home father due to working from home so I can't sit on here and debate with you all day. IF you care to add up my cobs I will gladly send you the specs of them and the drivers, you will be helping me at this point.... have a good evening sir
Looks damn good, i have 3 beans of the same strain.
I hope i can get them growing in about 3 weeks.
It´s going to be interesting to se your strain review/ smoke report on it.
Hope its a high cbd with a lot of medical values in it.
@CBD_Sweden, i justr smoked a sample bud and the high is nice an mellow because of the cbd i still fell asleep so im thinkng this is a indica CBD strain
hey dude, so what did you think of terpinator? do you think it made a big impact on your grow! I have used it before and I had some super sweet buds as a result. product smells awesome like cough syrup!
@Tripaholic88, maybe, I used it on Mendocino purple kush, and to my memory they seemed to have the most sweetest smell I have come across, It could be a pla|cebo effect on my behalf. I'm using cyco sugar rush at the moment which is very similar, and I also used it on my previous harvest, the lemon candy og and some of the aromas I had were unbelievably intense of fresh lemon and lime!
@BreakingBud, i have noticed that my buds are greasy with trichs now that i use terpinator. i wouldnt say it gives my buds a sweet smell though. maybe it accents some strains i grew like sweet tooth ect....
Hey Tripp you do great work brother. I've been following your grows for a couple of years now. Dabcrab obviously has too much time on his hands. Which is funny. Those of us who are serious growers do not have time to break each others grows down for no real reason at all. I could care less about gm/watt numbers. Give me high quality coniseur nugs, and that's all that matters!!! Like I said, great job Tripp! Do you.
@SouthernFrost, you must have been following me since the beginning because i have only been growing since march of 2016, glad to see ya and thanks for stopping by🙏
