These girls are all looking beautiful. They have been easy to grow with the SoHum living soil I am using. No nutrients just water. They will go into the flower tent next weekend.

Hello Growers, Update on the Dip n Stix S1's. Unfortunately, I had to let one go because it never got better after displaying signs of a PH unbalance. I flushed it out with PH 6.4 water, gave it a week to recover and it never did. Discarded that plant in order to keep space and attention on the two very healthy and beautiful others. I will flip to flower today. I am really liking the structure of these plants. They like to grow tall so Ive trained these to help keep them under control.

These girls are stretching like crazy. Overall the 2 surviving plants have been easy to care for. They do drink more water than my last run with the Blueberry Muffins. 4/16 starts week 2. Both plants have sexed but pistils have take longer to show compared to last run w/ blueberry muffin. Overall, enjoying the strain so far but excited to see what we will have in another few weeks.

Hello growers, Today we are starting day 1 of week 3 of flower. Unfortunately, another one of the plants had to be chopped due to it turning hermie. I realized it in a timely manner and hope my last plant was not affected. The pollen sacks did not open so my guess is that it will be fine. The lone survivor is looking great. She is already starting to build some frost this early in flower. This is a 10 week strain so I can only imagine the end result

Hello Growers, Coming back with a week 6 of Flower or day 42 update. Let me tell you that everything happens for a reason. If I had not chopped down the other two girls I would not have had enough space in my 4x2 for 3 plants. As you guys can see from the color on the leaves, I struggled with a phosphorous deficiency mid week 3 due to my PH dropping to 5.9 - 6.0. As soon as I noticed I flushed with PH 6.75 water plus added Bio Bizz, Top Max, and Fish Sh**t. So far they look recovered but obviously, the leaves will remain the same. 4 more weeks left until day 70 but I may push to 75 as the buds on this one are looking small but then again I have never grown a 70 day strain so you guys tell me, do these look too small for week 6?

How can I tell if a plant has recovered from a phosphorous deficiency if it has stopped producing new growth?

P deficiency comes with visible signs. leaves will look blue-ish, for example. what may seem like a stoppage of growth is really just subtle fattening, often. Watch a time-lapsed video and see how the last bit is just buds slowly getting bigger... slowly is key word. grab a leaf symptom chart - google image search or there is a link with useful spreadhseets, charts and what not in my GD profile main page. sort comments by date and it'll be at the top. if you don't feel safe doing that, google image has all the same stuff, except for the homemade spreadsheets, of course. spreadsheet saftey -- never open an unknown spreadsheet that has a macro. by default programs will warn you about such a thing before opening. nothing i made has a macro. no vb code used. just simple formulas. fwiw. After looking at diary -- don't confuse autumn colors with the P symptoms. that's genetics and/or temps at night being a bit too low. Your plant slook a bit light, but that could be the grow lights creating a false depiction. if you started to "flush" don't bother.. plants need building blocks to grow. if you take those away, growth will be even slower. if you dropped feed a bit recently, maybe go back to previous formula. if you did nothing, look over last few weeks and see when it started to progress.. consider a different plan next time to pre-emptively provide what is missing here. using same products helps, but sometimes new products are easier to use, too, even if there's a bit of a learning curve due to the change. pic 5 shows potassium deficiency too. So, get the pH set, see if that fixes it, but prolly needs a bit more of everything , but since close to end don't go overboard.

You’re looking for it to stop progressing further. Simple as that. If it’s still an issue it will progress, if not it will stay as is.

Hello jben1990, good that you reacted already and that you recognized the deficiency already. You did well with flushing the soil to bring the pH value in the right range. Keep giving the nutrients required by this pahse of the grow. They mainly need phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) and calcium (Ca) from now till harvest. So when you provide these nutrients and keep your pH between 6-7 your plant will recover and will give you a lot of weed as a reward in return! Enjoy your grow!

Hello Growers, Here with an update of the Dip n' Stix S1 by BeLeaf. We have entered week 7 of flower today 5/27/23. Even with the deficiencies I've run into so far, I must say I am very impressed with this phenotype. As you can see from the pics the amount of trichomes on this plant is insane. Even fan leaves have spots that are covered. Cant wait for the next 3 weeks as I am sure we will continue to see these flowers fatten up.

Tough grow with many lessons learned. Harvest was really hurt by the PH issue and deficiencies I ran into. Will try to run this again at a later time as I am sure once I perfect the grow conditions the results will be tough to match.
