March 21st:
Shaman is growing! All of the seedlings received a transplant from their starters into a 2 gallon pot of living soil.
She's standing nice and tall. Doesn't flop over when she gets some water on her.
I'm excited to scrog it once i take it outside in a couple months! I hope it's the purple calyx pheno, because i think that would be sweet potatoes to see scrogged across the landscape.
She's going to be getting a decent amount of LST in the coming months, before i move it outside.
Light intensity is currently at 45%.
March 28th:
It's doing pretty good, so far. Standing nice and strong, no falling over when it gets misted with water, and seems to grow a noticable amount every day.
Light intensity is at 55%, at the moment. I've been increasing it by a few percent every 3 or 4 days.
April 4th:
She's growing tall and lanky these first few weeks.
I've been gradually turning the light intensity up over the past couple weeks. It started around 35% and i've moved it up to about 60% since then, where it currently sits.
It's time to start LST this week!
April 11th:
Decided to two-leaf top instead of LST this week. It opens up light to lateral nodes, so they can grow into big strong branches.
Since it's going outside right after the last frost, I'm not too worried about LST at this point in time.
Light intensity at 55%
April 18th:
A little defoliation.
Light intensity at 70%.
Just straight well water.'
It's moving along. I'm excited about plopping it outside in a few weeks.
April 25th:
Lateral branches are trying to catch up with the top of the canopy.
Light intensity is at 75%
Still using just natural well water, no nutrients.
May 2nd:
I cranked the light up to 95% and she exploded!
I should start feeding her soon, or at least put a 1/2 cup of Craft Blend on top of the soil until it gets transplanted to outside.
May 16th:
Getting ready to stick her outside. I've found a nice spot for her to get a lot of sun and hopefully be safe from snatchers. I guess we'll see.
Gotta take clones, soon.
Defoliated some of the lower branches and leaves.
It grew well. It wasn't a fan of compacted soil, but it made due with what it had.
I accidentally broke a branch pretty bad, which made it susceptible to botrytis.
