I was gifted some testers of this accidental cross. I believe the father was Brandywine and the mother was Caramel Cream auto. I'm not sure what to expect from this, but I have several things in the works for this season. Also trying something different for this year- starting them under a 20-watt LED before moving them outside. The weather has been unusually cool and wet so far.
More bad weather this week and not a lot happening yet. Made it through a bad storm Wednesday morning. Gave it some soil inoculant to help it get on it's way since it's supposed to be warmer and sunnier next week.
I think they have adjusted to being outside. We had a few warm days but overall the weather still hasn't been great. I hit them with a little bit of the kelp extract this week just because I was going over the garden and yard.
Temps have still been way below average. Plant is coming along nicely though. It's supposed to get hot over the next few days. I've lost track of what day the pictures were taken but I think it's been about 4 weeks now.
It's been about a month since I moved this one outside and I think it's done pretty good. It's starting to fill in around the nodes. If it turns out to be male I may use it for breeding. Seems like it would be a waste of some good genetics to just get rid of it.
This one is starting to look a little bit stuck.
It hasn't really stretched much the past week and the other two plants are taller now despite being a week or two younger. This one also has much lighter color to it and some of the leaves are drying out. Also looks like there might be some male genitalia starting to form around the top two nodes.
Not sure what's going on with this plant but it doesn't look good. The only difference between this and the other two is the soil is reused from last year. Guess I'm going to have to dump the soil and start fresh whatever happens with this. Not sure if it's going to make it, but I'm not giving up on it yet.
Looks a little bit better this week. I trimmed off some of the lower stuff. Starting to see pistils forming around the top 2 nodes. Fed some big bloom 2x this week.
Still not doing very much. This plant just seems to be in a suspended state. Hasn't stretched at all or added much new growth. Just kind of living. I'm calling it my cannabonsai plant.
No change really from last week. Not much growth and the preflower hasn't really progressed at all. Otherwise the plant is looking healthy. No weird leaf structure or other issues, just not really doing anything. Scratching my head with this one.
Another week and not much change. Hasn't gotten any taller and still just kind of stuck in this pre-flower mode. There are some pistils that formed but haven't grown or developed for several weeks now.
Still stuck in limbo. I almost pulled the plug on it this week but couldn't bring myself to do it. My other two plants are doing well and now is not really a good time to be starting another one.
Wasn't anything to harvest I just decided to pull the plug. There hadn't been any changes for several weeks and my patience finally ran out. I'm going to focus my attention on getting the afghan plant through the summer and then start some new auto runs in September. These seeds were testers, and this test didn't work out.
