NobbyClarke I was gifted these seeds by someone who has little interest beyond the smoke. I am guessing that it is Squirrel Tail (that is the local crop) but I dont know for sure.
Planted out this week
I think I have been over watering so I have knocked that back. I'll see how that goes over the next week.
Just received delivery of nutrients from Siam Sativa, so I will begin that regime and see how that goes over the next week.
A plant app that I was trying out suggested an area with more light so I have relocated all the plants and see how that goes over the next week.
Soil metre on the way so hopefully that will remove some of the guesswork.
Can't help but get the feeling I'm making a lot of mistakes

NobbyClarke I repotted some of these this week and they now look to be doing okay.
Although these seeds came from the same bag, given by a friend, I am more convinced than ever that they are a mixture of strains.
The leaves and plant structures seem to show at least 3 differences

NobbyClarke The plants continue to grow and seem okay
As with the Kush I will top 1 plant fim 1 plant and leave 1 untrained to compare the results - I will probably do this next week
I suspect I found Male and have removed it from the group, I will ask a question of the experts to confirm my suspicions.
I suspect this is a Male plant, please could someone advise me if this is correct?
This is my first grow so I am unsure.
I have seperated it from the other plants as a precaution
Beginner grower here. Despite my limited growing experience, I can confidently say this is a male. The females show more of an oval shape called the calyx. These look like pollen sacs to me.
NobbyClarke Unfortunately I had to remove 4 boys from this batch this week, hopefully that all of them.
Still some growth on these over the week when everything else plateaued

NobbyClarke Lost 4 (5 if you include the cucko) to becoming Male plants 5 of 9 so far grow from this batch of seeds
Otherwise the plants are progressing okay.
