Moved indoors, freshly FIMmed and with just a bit of heat distress from the long hour trip. Using enriched soil with coco mix. Next update will be after a month or so.
Lights used:
• 3× 12.5W → 100W Philips LED light bulbs at 6500K and with 1521 Lumens.
• 3× 12.5W → 100W Philips LED light bulbs at 4000K and with 1521 Lumens.
@Dr_WeedsMan, Why do you want to light to reach the lower branches? Typically you lollipop and remove all the lower foliage so the plant puts its energy into the colas instead of wasting it on the lower branches which do not produce much. Also, around week 15 your plants looked stressed most likely from over watering. That is easy to do when you have a pot that is too big for the plant. The roots do not fill the pot so your soil stays too wet for several days starving the roots of oxygen.
@goarilla, light needs to get to the lower branches in order to grow. That's the reason of the trim. Now, each of the light bulbs have a performance of 100W and a base wattage of 12.5W. Less wattage seems not effective enough.
U are growing with 35,125 not very efficient (in Terms of Par output) Watts of Light per Square Meter xD
I think you could reach that Light-Power only using Candles.
Bro u need more than that 6 LED-Bulbs in youre Tent. U cant count the LED-Bulbs as 150Watt bulbs. This only means that it produces as much lumen as an old lightbulb with 150w produces.
U are actually giving youre Plant s 70.25 Watt of light on 2m2.
In this Tent you would need 60 ! of these LED bulbs to create a good penetrating light. Extra Tip is to throw off the Plastic Dome on the Bulbs if u use them but better buy a real growlight or build one with high power leds.
U have to count the Real wattage drawed from the Lamps not the Equivalent to old Lightbulbs.
Hello, I don’t know a ton about your grow but here is my 2 cents take it or leave it.
You are providing a massive amount of light it seems. I read some specs you said about it, but not sure the led light it’s self. A plant can only take in so much light. If the light is too powerful the plant will try taking it all in, but it crashes and burns. Starts to get smaller leaves up top and the leafs will start to coward down like trying to hide from the light. Also get some stipe looking issues.
It might also be over watering too often, the leaves are textured and puffy so keep that in mind. Both will cause the purpling in your stems/stalks.
She was ok before the massive shave because a pant can absorb more light the bigger they are. But you removed her solar panels, forcing her to try and take the same light but with less panels. You asked her to do too much. Where maybe she could handle the 600 powerful led(ish).
I am sure you read to defoil and it will make the light better, but really you should of had 2 more plants and just lolipopped and lst to get a nice even canopy. You want the canopy to absorb those powerful lights.
If you have room, I would thInk about starting some new ones. Learn more about lolipopping, super cropping, lst with tellas.
Are the lights really drawing 600 Watts from the wall each?
