ichero Was preparing myself for the 1st grow for over 4 month, red a ton of theory though now when its all started i feel 0 confidence jeez.
Tossed it into the glass of dechlorinated tap water (dont know the ppm yet, my tds meter is being delivered), brought pH down to 5.8.
After about 36hrs it grew a tail large enough to plant it in the rockwool. Prepared the rockwool with water mentioned above.
Day 9. The root came out of rockwool, time to set her in the netpot with hydroton.

ichero She grew hella lot of roots :3 transitioning to hydro looks ugly as advertised, but we are in the "dont worry about it camp". ph is steady 5.8, ppm doesnt drop or raise, cuz shes too young to make a difference.
It turns out 300ppm was HELLA smol for her)) she almost ate herself and got severe calcium deficiency. Gave her 500, hope she gets well soon.

ichero OMG :) we went through a hell lot of problems. I underfed her drastically, got severe calcium deficiency and excess watering.
Calcium deficiency caused by the dryed out hydroton. I was watering her 10ml from syringe daily. ph of syringe water was screwed by hydroton to 7. And it all got worse by the fact that i fed her 300ppm for 2 weeks. Not to mention i got my rockwool overflown with water.
So i squeezed excess water from the rockwool, measured its ph and found out the root of my problems. Took all dry hydroton out, replaced it with just a cap of aluminium foil. Also lowered water level by 1,5 inch so now its about 2 inches between net pot and water.
Now we are getting better and i hope live through the cycle.
