Happy to announce the start of this diary. I planted two BCP seeds directly into some Ecothrive 70/30 on the 17 of May, checked on them and they are both about to break ground.
I plan on watering them only dechlorinated water for the first week, then il start them on a light nutrient feed.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Both girls appear to be growing at a good rate, stretching for the light!
I’ve started feeding them a light nutrient feed as of today. I plan on repotting both plants into some 1 litre pots towards the end of the week.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Both plants were repotted into 1 litre pots, seen a good amount of growth over this week.
They are both continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
All appears well, seen some good growth.
I plan on repotting her into a bigger pot as soon as I have the space.
She’s continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
I repotted both girls into 3 litre pots around 4 days ago. They both appear to have settled into their new pots and have pushed out some new growth.
They’re continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Finally got round to repotting these girls, just struggling for time, hence the reason I’m a day late updating this diary.
Repotted them into 10 litre pots, not watered them in yet as they felt fairly heavy from their last feed.
Continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week, may add some extra root tonic to help the transition to help speed up recovery time.
I removed a couple of fan leaves here and there, it was getting a bit out of control in the tent and I was noticing some moisture build up on the leaves.
Shouldn’t be an issue now, a substantial amount of plants have been taken out so everything has a bit more room to breathe.
Couple more weeks then they’ll go into flower 🌸
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
(Photos got mixed up, these are the DV2)
Decided to bend over the main stem to slow down growth some and to open up light to the lower branches.
I’ve taken clones from one of the BCP’s, I’m waiting on the other to push out some viable branches for cloning.
They’re both continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear lush and healthy.
Hoping to move into these girls into flower in just under two weeks.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
All appears well with these two, they both appear to have settled into their new home. Both plants are drinking at a good rate and I’ve increased the A+B nutrients up to 2ml/ltr.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Bud sites are beginning to form on both plants, seen a good amount of growth.
I’ll be adding some Canna Boost to their next feed at 1ml/ltr, this will continue until around week five.
Both plants appear to be strong phenos, different structures, but equally vigorous in growth.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Both girls appear to be doing well, im watering them every 2-3 days.
Bud sites on both plants appear to be developing at a good rate.
Plant#2 smells like Cherries, it’s wild!
They will both continue on the same feed as last week.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Seen some good growth from both plants over this last week, bud sites are developing at a good rate.
Both plants will start receiving extra PK in their feed as of this week. I’ve run out of Canna PK so I’m using this Buddhas Tree stuff I got off a mate short notice.
Watering every 2-3 days.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Seen some good growth from both girls over this last week.
They’ve stopped getting added PK to their feed now and are back on a basic nutrient feed.
One more week of nutrients then il start flushing them.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Seen some good growth from both girls over this last week. They’ve done with any nutrients now and both girls are receiving dechlorinated tap water.
I don’t bother PHing the water at this point in their lives, they get whatever the tap gives 🤷♂️.
Starting to see a lot of the calyx’s swelling on BCP#1, she looks like she might foxtail, but it looks more like a genetic trait of this particular pheno rather than an environmental issue.
BCP#1 has the strongest tropical fruit punch smell and the buds don’t look it, but are surprisingly dense.
BCP#2 still looks to have a few weeks left to swell. Her buds rock solid, she equally has a fruity smell, but more gassy than the BCP#1.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Both girls appear to be maturing at a good rate, they are both entering their eighth week of flower.
Starting to see some fade colours from the BCP#1. Her buds still appear to have a bit of swelling to do.
Hoping to see some fade from BCP#2 this week, her buds are rock solid, but again, she appears to have a couple of weeks left before she’s fully matured.
Continuing flushing them with dechlorinated tap water, giving them around three litres each every 3-4 days.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Getting close now!
Both girls are entering their ninth week of flower. Seeing some lovely autumnal colours from both of the plants. I’ve started checking trichomes and I haven’t been able to find any Amber trichs yet. It’s predominantly cloudy, but there are still a few clear ones to mature.
Currently going through a bit of a heatwave, hoping to harvest towards the end of next week once the weathers cooled down a bit, but if they need more time I can leave them until day 70 at the most.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Very happy with how both plants turned out in the end! Pheno#1 is a definite keeper, but il be hanging on to Pheno#2 for at least another run or two.
Both plants have a very similar smell it’s like a tropical cherry punch, #1 smells the strongest, you only have to nudge it and then whole room stinks. #2 has a gassy edge that #1 doesn’t have. Both smell incredible!
I’ve cut both plants into individual branches and I’ve hung them in my drying tent. I’ve removed all fan leaves and any lead with a visible stalk.
I’ll dry them for 10-14 days, my RH stays roughly between 55-60 and the temperature fluctuates between 19-24*c weather dependent.
I’d like to thank everyone who has had a look, liked or commented on this diary, I hope it’s been helpful 🙃
Big shoutout to In-House Genetics for another 🔥 strain, can’t wait to try this one!
Il post an update with some bud pictures once she’s dried and curing.
Catch you all soon, until next time 🌱💚
