Hot (boiling) water to expand pellet.
(Cut 2 clear plastic bottles in half, use the bottom halves for the container and lid)
Place pellet in one bottom half (container).
Make a small hole about 4 mm deep and 2 mm wide in expanded peat.
Place seed in hole while the pellet is still warm (not hot).
Do not cover seed.
Add water to the container to about 1/5th of the pellet.
Cover with the other bottom half (lid).
Leave in cool, dark area for ~2 days (until seedling is fully exposed and the top leaves are open).
Move peat pellet to hydroponic bucket.
Haven't really had time to take as much care of this baby as I should have. Topped it this week and added more nutrients taking special note of the PH which keeps getting out of hand very quickly.
Moving it outside next week for the natural 12x12 hour light schedule here in Thailand. First grow here in Thailand so I hope the change from the cooler 25 C indoors to the 30 C outdoor temp will not be too much of an issue.
