Gelat.OG (Clone)

This grow officially started 7/3. I got a cut as a gift and decided to run it along side my other clones. It's about a month behind all the others but hopefully it gets to a decent size to yield. I plan to veg it out for about a week or two more.

This week I fertilized with Gaia Green All Purpose as directed and watered every other day with the Quillaja and Mycrob Complete. I also kept bending the main stem down to get the lower branches to match the top ones in height. I also ended up using the last of the soil I had left and put it on top of the straw.

Did a bit more LST this week to help bush this one out. Unfortunately at the end of the week, the rest of the tent needed to get flipped to flower because they were getting too big so I ended up moving the Gelato.OG to the closet to catch up for a week or two and then it will go back with everything else.

This week I just let her ride, it got some defoliation and a bit more LST to keep her wide but she is pretty much done with that now. I want her to get to be about 18-20 inches tall before she goes back into the tent for flower.

Starting to pick up speed on the veg growth. I gave a full dose of All Purpose to carry it out until flower. Probably about 1 more week of veg until it goes into the tent for flower.

8/8 - 8/14 This week is the last week of veg. At the end of the week I defoliated and she got put in the main tent to get flipped to flower.

8/15 - 8/21 First week of flower, only thing I did was fertilize with some Power Bloom and put a new layer of straw.

8/22 - 8/28 Plant is starting to really stretch this week. Buds are also starting to show. I had the plant on a box to keep the canopy level but I removed it this week because of how much it stretched already.

8/29 - 9/4 Wasn't able to get many pictures over the week but buts are starting to develop nicely. Trichomes are also popping up. I fertilized at the beginning of the week with a slightly higher amount as the person I got the cut from said this particular geno is very hungry and takes it extremely well.

9/5 - 9/11 Not much this week, growing nicely and starting to get some weight in the buds. Smell is still very week but if you touch them, there is a sweet kinda smell so far but it's hard for me to describe it.

9/12 - 9/18 Rest of the grow was cut down today so now the Gelat.OG has the tent all to itself. The terps are starting to develop nicely and it has this pleasant sweet creamy smell almost with a hint of gas.

9/19 - 9/25 Buds are getting heavier and trichomes are showing up more. Seems to be loving the extra light and extra nutrients I gave it.

9/26 - 10/2 Continuing to stack this week. She got a little fox tailly towards the end of the week which I think may have been due to some heat spikes I had. I lowered light intensity and also went down to 11 hours of light this week to help with ripening. I'm thinking she has another week or two left but as of now she doesn't have any amber trichomes.

10/3 - 10/9 Last day of the grow and was cut down on the 9th. Overall pretty happy with this plant and how it grew. If I had a bit more time to veg it out i feel like it could have been even better but even though veg was cut a little short, it still did very well in my opinion.

I got this cut as a gift after I gave away some of my cuts and I was very impressed with the quality of these genetics. Wish I was able to veg it out for just a bit longer but I did keep a mom so we'll see if she stays around.
