I thought, i posted last week, but it seems like I did not click the save button, but luckily I did not delete last week’s images and videos, so I posted them and with the latest images and videos. I am honoured to be growing this strain, because my first attempt was gorilla glue but I lost it when I moved back to jozi from Limpopo… but here I am getting another stab at it, though it’s not GG#4, strains that contain the gorilla gene seem to be high THC strain, I am expecting couch potatoe high.

Transplant successful and my babies are thriving, even braved the cold this week, however we are not out the woods yet, I think not having a fan is hindering my plants, conditions are favourable for my babies, let me not stress, I will make a plan, sacrifices must be done… for the greater good. The positive is my grow medium mix looks like it was well balanced, I need to buy 20 bags this time, and add it to my veggie patches, and I will not be defoliating anyone this month, fan leaves’ green colour is lovely and uniform, she is happy with her diet, and you will see the uniform green colour on all these ladies, except for Monday’s Blue she had a lot of nutrients in the beginning, but all is bright and right.

This gorilla is definitely having its time of it’s life, she the only one I violated my no new stressing technique policy of august, just water and sunlight, the medium is 4 types of mediums all with it’s set of nutrients and thus far is treating my babies beautifully, sadly I am having difficulties uploading the video for Cherry G, but I hope the ictures do justice, I am truly enjoy how I grow nowadays, I think i am goin to find my on way of truly getting the most out of a plant, because the more bud brunches your plant can produce the better chances of getting a big yield, unlike banking only on getting big buds. Next month which ever ladies ar Have not flowered, I will be topping and defoliating them all. Cannot wait to see the before and after defoliation and topping.

This Gorilla, has went ape. All I need to do now, is nurse it to harvest, to get bigger buds,I want dense nuggets. But more than having nuggets, I need it’s potency to be on deadly level, I want smokers to crash after smoking. Or I would only get that if I was growing Gorilla Glue.

I recently just realized that my experiment was successful, before fill these buckets with my grow medium I drilled less holes than all the other plants buckets… turns out the fewer holes the the medium becomes swampy, however my gorilla is doing great, she flowering with grace.

An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

My Gorilla seems to be tame, I wonder if she’s mimicking Lamby, going to be short but pungent in aroma with bulky buds,I need to read up again on what to expect when she’s in her flowering phase. She’s has become a nice experiment when it comes to seeing if her 500ml water and nutrient watering regiment is going to pay off with her potency, thus far I am. To impressed with her at all, but I will keep nurturing her, I really need lights to compliment the sun, I want to keep each season’s light schedule, all I do is increase the time of exposure to direct light with the artificial light. I Though they get light, it’s not as much as I would love my ladies to receive, but before I judge let me practice patience and enjoy the harvest, each lady will tell a different tale with what I dealt them. Let me not complain rather focus on harvesting all these ladies and getting feedback from friends and I need to get them lab tested. FastBuds (2fast4buds.com) sponsored me with their Autos, four strains to be precis, I have seen it’s video diary from fastbuds, I have to be honest, being a grower who’s used to growing regular strains that take their time to mature, these autos seem like a scam to me, I have not encountered an auto, even within my 5th cycle. Interesting times lay ahead, can we have more rain fail, need to fill that tank, growing some produce to sell to my local store. Since I am hobbyist-weed grower.

The most difficult strain to grow this cycle, I do not know whether it’s due to the irrigation of the pot she resides in, causes this slow growth, and making matters worse nearly fried her with nutrients, so I flush but it turned out I was overwatering with the flushing, so I have allow it dry up a bit and incrementally flush due to the slow drainage from this pot, though she revegged I will not add nutrients, since she’s this far in her flowering phase, I don’t want to risk not having enough time to flush before harvest.

The reveg on Cherry is so aggressive I am in love, more buds and bigger buds. I am getting caught between under and over feeding my babies this cycle, I had the time, when I was starting

Cannot believe it myself it’s been 32 Weeks(if my last post was exactly 2months to this day) and still no harvest, just growth. I blame the timing of my cultivation. My baby was planted in winter, with short days with long nights, however by the time it was time to flower, the flowering process got interrupted by days getting longer and nights shorter, due to change of season. Ms Cherry G over here has grown into a tall skinny stem woman, I am going to need extra support matter of fact I am going to need support for all remaining ladies, I had to cut of the old flowering bud, dried up while going through reveg and flowering. By now I thought I would started my 5th cycle, it’s truly been awhile since I have put effort in my babies, life does get in the way, but the aim is to always continue the hustle regardless what occurs on the daily.

I am not happy with this strain, but I blame myself, I dried it to quick, allowed a lot of airflow in the dry closet when I should of kept the airflow as minimal as possible, slower you dry the bud, the better the result when it it comes to bud size, aesthetics, aroma, smoothness and when smoking it, the taste on your pallet will be fantastic. However I am hopeful when I bake this strain, I will be amazed 😇
