did you just lay the seedling on top of the soil?

@Ol_Greg, I poked my finger in the soil.. kept the seed in and just covered it with a bit of soil.. the sapling popped out of the soil within few hours.

I've been following. I have 2 Northern Light Autos in 6th week. Almost same operation to a tee.
