Strong
Very strong plant, she was able to withstand some early shock as my cat decided to take a little bite off her. Did some mainlining LST in order to get more light in the producing stems, she recovered easily through any stress. Overall she was very easy to maintain and grow, ended up producing ~93-94g of buds, using a marshydro TS-600 that took 100W consumption, pretty close to the 1g/1w rule. I wasn't really impressed with the nutrients (Kawsay) produced in Argentina, as I seemed to run out early of the Base A/Base B solution

Reviews. Nutrient
My baby loved all the nutrients, came up a bit short with the 500ML though
Reviews. Lamp
Light was a little bit too much for seedlings, had to use a 30W temporary light to get them going, after that it was smooth sailing, no overheating issues, perfect lighting for newbies like me

Grow Questions

I feel like the plant is too small should I raise up the light? I don't see her reaching for the light. I also would like to know what you guys think about topping / lollypopping ? I'm still debating on how to go about the growth.

I am reposting my answer here :) You can for sure lower your light (at least 10cm). Try using a ppfd meter app to monitor your ppfd and make sure its adjusted for her age/ stage. If your light is really 100W, I think it should be much lower even on week 3. With regards to Training I'm personally trying out Mainlining. It's a technique were you top the plant and remove all foliage except the top leaves. This creates 2 main branches. You can do this multiple time but every time you have to let her recover and grow a bit. If Mainlining is too much for you topping will do the job similarly. Lollipopping on the other hand should be kept to a later stage of growth as it's something you do for higher quality buds so keep it in mind so you can do it before switching the lights to flowering. The most important thing for all these techniques is to keep your equipment clean. Sanitize your scissors and go for 1 clean cut. Good luck with the rest of your grow and enjoy the process

Hi Elsolo, First of all - great grow so far :) Raising your light will give the plant even more stretch, which is approached in your case. But try to stick to your light manual (u can check online as well) whats the best difference between canopy and light during veg/flower phase. And slightly adjust it as needed or as your plants will tell you. I would recommend you topping your plant and do some LST to get all main branches on the same level :) Always top about 3rd or 4th node and then have fun ;) + Lollipopping is great to get bigger main colas instead of little popcorn buds below... I would do it 1 week befor transition into flower - cut 1/3 below everything and then leave them for 4-5 days to recover and send them into flower. Next Defoliation should be 21+ Day of Flower and that's it more or less. Afterwards u can always take some big fan leaves or leaves who cover buds below. If you have further Questions feel free to send me DM :) Good luck and have fun. Ps. u can check my current grow - I did topping + LST + Lollipopping and get amazing main colas

When do you guys usually switch to flower? I've been reading that the rule of thumb is that the plant will stretch twice or three times its actual size, taking this into account I believe I have a week or two in Veg.

Hi!, how come your Ph goes down when they feed?, I've looked over your diary and they look great!!, I'll be hoenst, the training and the defoliating got me surprised because i didn't know you could stress the plant that much and still have it look healthy. nice diary, I'll keep an eye for updates :)

@elsolo1,Hello, yes i'm doing lst, haven't uploaded photos yet but will FIM, LST and scrog them to have the biggest yields possible, that is if they consume their nutrients... mine is not working as yours, Ph goes up so thats why i was wondering. Will reffer back to my sources to see what the issue might be. and will be on the lookout for your girls 👻 happy grow!!

@Lucyfer, Hey bud! Ive read that PH goes down because the plant is consuming the nutrients. The mainlining and defoliating is interesting, I'll do one last defoliation and topping before sending her into flower in a week or so! Saw your diary do you plan to do any training?
