-Intro: This experiment is to see how several plants in smaller pots do in my limited grow space, also the cultivars chosen were based on the ones I have but not received samples of yet and a few that were the result of self-seeding. Through this experiment I should be able to see average size that plants will get in 1.5 gal pots, also this experiment may dictate what cultivars I grow in the future.
-Setup: the soil is a mix of reclaim from past cycles and some amended peat moss with added perlite. four of the seeds are the result of self-seeding (Baby Brucie, Big Bruce, PB&J, Widow), the other four are new seeds (Bubba Kush, Green Crack, G.S.C. Extreme, Sour Diesel)
-Grow style: Sea of Green (SOG), Defoliation, and maybe some Low Stress Training (LST)
-Day 0
--Observations: All seeds float in water
--Changes: Started germination
--Comments: hopefully all the seeds start pushing out their tap roots at the same time, also I hope that they all survive the planting process.
-Day 2
--Observations: all seeds have pushed out their tap roots and all look healthy
--Changes: all seeds planted into 1.5 gal of soil started 18/6 light/nigh cycle
--Comments: planted all the seeds today, also started the light cycle that they will have throughout the vegetative stage.
-Day 4
--Observations: all seeds except the widow have sprouted
--Comments: all of the plants are looking good except for the white widow, the widow still has not sprouted. will wait until the end of the week and if the widow still has not sprouted then I will be taking it as a loss.
-Day 7
--Observations: most of them are doing good and looking healthy. Baby Brucie was top heavy and broke its stem. the white widow never sprouted.
--Changes: removed the two that are being taken as a loss, rearranged remaining pots
--Comments: the Baby Brucie and the White Widow are being taken as a loss, pots have been removed from grow space. the remaining pots were rearranged in two rows of three (photo not available for this week)
