Germinated seeds in a wet paper towel inside a wooden box and put it in the grow tent with the lights on just to get the temp up. Roots were about 1 inch long after 2 days. Planted into solo cups with Roots Organics Original Potting Soil.

Not much to report, lowered the lights to 24 inches based on manufacturer recommendations. I was watering solo cups with 6.5 ph water and using approximately 6 ounces. This was taking about 5 days to dry up so waterings were infrequent at this time.

gave first feeding this week from General Organics Grow Box. I followed their suggested dosage ratios but only gave 1/4 of the strength. They growth rate and condition of the plants did not seem to be effected by the feeding.

Gave plants a full feed and also began LST on the NL auto. At this time I was planning to LST only the auto I had just to see what hapends and leave all the other plants alone. After feeding the plants I noticed a small amount of burn on all of their tips and the NL plant leaves began to curl under like a reverse canoe. Immediately after I began LST on the NL plant the canoeing got a lot worse.

All plants were showing very slight burn at tips and some brown spots on leaves. I decided to stop feeding and only give water. NL plant leaves were mostly curled. I tried a bunch of things like not water, taking the fan off of the plant but nothing fixed the leaves. I defoliated the plant a bit during these week but I do not remember why I did this. Looking back on it defoliation may have only made the problem worse.

Temps were getting low so I added some heated mats used for seedlings to the tent. This increased the interior temps by about 10 degrees. I believe this helped A LOT. If you look at the growth rate over the last week compared to previous growth rate it is a big increase. I stopped feeding this week and began giving lots of water in an attempt to flush. I was suspecting all the plants had a little bit of nitrogen toxicity as the tips were curled down and leaves were all very dark green. The NL plant was coming around a little bit. Also I began to LST all plants in the tent because they were getting tall. Got rid of runt CBD plant because I needed more space in the tent

Tent was getting really hot (up to 86 degrees) because carbon filter was clogged from running my humidifier. Replaced filter. Fed with calmag this week but no other nutrients. Plants all seem to be doing quite well. I had noticed fungus knats for quite a while. This week I got some sticky cards and NEMA oil to start getting them under control. Found probably 20 knats on the cards after 1 week of leaving them out. Also began applying diatomaceous earth to soil.

First week of bloom was uneventful until feeding. After feeding upper leaves began to droop and looked more yellow. Seems like growth has slowed since feeding. Edit: Looking back at photos now. Growth has continued since last feeding but had seemed slow. Before this feeding I felt like I was starting to get a handle on watering. The leaves would start to droop just a small amount and I would then water. Soil would be dry only at the top. The plants would then perk up by the next day. This week after the first bloom feed the plants did not perk up but instead drooped way more than usual. I am not sure why this happened. I have also seen some signs of nitrogen deficiency with yellow leaves at bottoms of Aurora Indica plants. At the moment I am wondering not only what my problem is but also if I am just over-reacting and in fact don't have any problems.

Grow Questions

I flipped these to flower 8 days ago. 2 days ago I gave them 1/2 strength feeding of G.O. Go Box according to their feed schedule. I noticed that the new growth seems more yellow and droopy. Also, for 3 weeks the NL plant (bottom right) is half green half yellow. Any ideas?

Based from what i see here , you need to adjust your nutrient solution , at the begining of flowering you wanna give it a good PK spike so that it helps make it easier on your plants to form flowers , you might also want to consider watering them with more water but less often , this will ensure that you don't over water . The droop that i see in your diary is classic thirst shes thirsty , shes going through water faster now because she's working in overdrive right now trying to get her flowers going . All in all your doing well I would just adjust the nutrient solution a little bit and give them good watering but less often and you will be rocking and rolling , you're already on your way to getting kick ass medicine ! I hope this information helps you ! - Happy Growing!

started seeing brown spots on some leaves of AI plants and NL plant. All plants began yellowing a bit on lower leaves. Plants seem to have stopped stretching.

After realizing I was suffering from nitrogen deficiency and possibly other deficiencies from not feeding much towards the end of veg I drastically increase my feeding amount. Before doing this all of my plants were showing some yellow growth moving up the plant. This week everything seems to be back to normal and the plants are flowering nicely as far as I can tell.

Plants seem to be doing fine. The buds on the photoperiod plants are getting larger at a quicker rate than the northern lights auto. Buds on the NL plant seems to have stopped gaining size. I should be about 2 weeks from harvest given Nirvana suggested flower time

Soory i dont see anything in that light, on the first look i would say nice girls. But that is only guessing. we got no datas like wich fertiliser (nutes ratio) no temp no infos to the light etc.. no ph ... pls fill in the datas into the Schedule and do some pictures in natural light and add information about your fertiliser that we can see wich ratio it has. Anything else is just guessing ( or rolling the dices) greetings. as i see you uploaded the diary a few days before. but no informations about your grow. so its difficult to say anything thatwill help you.

I realized that my ph meter was out of calibration and was reading about 0.3 low. I adjusted this then measured water ph and tds before watering and then ph and tds of the run off. The results are in one of the photos. In summary, the NL plant had a runoff ph of about 6.9 while all the others were around 6.7 which possibly explains some of its issues. Also, TDS was a bit high I think for all plants based on what I have researched to be normal (700-1500) but I could still use some advice cuz I am knew at this shit.
