Embarking on another exciting journey with Hella Jelly – JELLY RANCHER strain by Humboldt Seed Company, we have imporved our cultivation conditions to optimize results for these keeper phenotypes.
In this run, we are growing Pheno #5, #8, #7, and #1. Currently, we are five weeks into the vegetative stage, and our plants are thriving.Previously, they were somewhat root-bound due to their prior location, but we have transplanted them into 10L pots.
All our plants have undergone meticulous topping and training, and we are now leaving them to flourish. We have a scrog the net which is being installed in the next few days, and we will feed the new growth through the scrog untill the screen is filled.
Speaking of lighting, our setup currently features a 450W full-spectrum quantum board, operating at maximum capacity and strategically positioned to maintain favorable temperatures. Notably, we've introduced UV bulbs into the equation (2 x 26W UVB bulbs). Initially, we'll expose the plants to 30 minutes of UV light twice daily, gradually extending the duration to 4-6 hours daily as we enter the flowering phase.
For the flowering stage, we'll make the switch from the 450W Quantomn board to the Spyder 2p 650W.
In preparation for the plants daily fertigation needs, we've installed a drip-feed system, which will come into play as soon as the plants begin to show signs of drying up daily.
Our target date for inaiting the flowering stage is set for the 1st of October. We are genuinely optimistic about the outcome of this run, so please stay tuned for regular updates!
Super happy with how everything is looking, conditions are perfect, and not an problem in sight! Should be an epic run ✊
Scrog and Fleunce Spydr 650watt are installed and we are intiating the flowering cycle on Sunday October 1st. Took 10 cuts this morning from some of the bigger girls to help shape canopy.
These girls flower fast! Big Budzzz in-coming 😁👌
It has been 1 week since flipping to 12/12. The girls are looking happy and healthy and have grown quite a bit.
Unfortunately, a few days ago, my large oscillating fan fell onto a part of the canopy, mainly on #5 :( Luckily, she has bounced back just fine.
So far, so good, until next week!
Another fantastic week!
The girls grew nicely during the stretching phase filling out most of the space, but have now started to calm down. It has been 14 days since switching to a 12/12 light cycle.
We lowered the light and are running it at 100% power.
The girls are being fed five times a day through a drip feed system @1500EC.
No problems so far. Happy daze 😁
Another good week! Girls are happy and packing on weight fast.
It has been 3 weeks since switching to 12/12.
Not much to report on. Check yall next week :)
Dam these girls are coming on fast now.
Buds could be bigger but quality is going to be top shelf. Definitely testing pheno #7. She real frosty and it’s still early days.
Had some Ph issues that caused some discolouration but that’s fixed now.
Another 3/4 weeks to go.
✊🏼
Another good week in the garden. Day 37 since iniating the flower cycle! Day 29 of since visble flower (pistils) showing.
Pheno #7 is doing particularly well and is the reason we allocated half of our test area to it. She has an aroma reminiscent of what you would expect from the jelly rancher - jelly babies, sour worms, and super fruity. It's a fast-flowering plant and has plenty of trichomes.
Pheno #1 also has some impressive terpenes, and structure but not as quick.
Pheno #8 is big and vigorous is proving to be a high-yielder. Not as terpe as the other 2
Pheno #5 is similar to #8 but has more hairs.
We will start harvesting #7 and #8 in the next 14 days or so :D
Untill next week
✊
Another good week in the garden. Day 44 since iniating the flower cycle! Day 35 of since visble flower (pistils) showing.
Pheno #7and #8 are almost ripe and ready for harvest. Will start checking trcihes with microscope later today. Looking for atleast 50% amber. Will start flushing soon.
Pheno #1 and #5 are abit behind by a week or two.
I was getting more PM so I sprayed with milk 30% and water. That is why you might see some white risdue on some of the leaves, otherwise mildew is under control and and no signs of mold or rot.
I am expecting good results from this run :D
Untill next week
