Bugsby98765 I think she’s pretty much done with vertical height growth, but the buds are fattening up. I added BioBizz Bio-Grow to the nutes this week and I think that contributed to the bud growth. Some stigmas are starting to turn amber as well. There’s good development of flowers lower down on the plant, probably thanks to LST, so I’ll probably have a good bit of popcorn buds in my harvest. At this point, I can see the finish line in site and want to get as much bud bulk (lol) as possible before harvest. Trying to keep an eye on her so that I can properly time my flush. Also, she’s growing in a grow tent on my balcony and it’s starting to turn cold here, so fingers crossed that doesn’t have a negative impact here in the home stretch.

Bugsby98765 This week pistils really took a turn towards amber. By the end of the week, more fan leaves are turning yellow. Hoping for a little more calyx fattening. I think this week will be last week of nutes before flush, as it looks like she’s 2-3 weeks away from harvest. Any thoughts about timing appreciated!

Bugsby98765 This was the last week of nutes, and it looks like a good calyx swelling has taken place. I plan to flush for a week and then harvest. Trichomes look great, about 10-15% amber at the moment and oh so frosty ! This week upcoming I’ll be planning my drying set-up. Am also considering a progressive harvest, where I snip the three largest colas and come back two weeks later for the lower buds. Any advice appreciated!!

Bugsby98765 This is flush week and there’s a noticeable change in the speed of water uptake. Was hoping to harvest at the end of the week, but despite some amber trichomes on the sugar leaves, the buds look like they still need sometime to turn. Plan to give her another 4-7 days and hopefully harvest!

Bugsby98765 So close to harvest but hoping more a bit more amber on the buds. Second week of flush, plan to chop her down by mid week.
She is looking great and sooo close too. I bet you’re excited/nervous with this being your first harvest. I know I was.
I always have to remember patience because they start smelling so good and I am like well what’s a few days early? Lol It’s still great stuff but if you want the amber you need to have patience.
If you need any advice for your harvest you can always message me. My first harvest I let them dry too long. I had the humidity and temp mostly right but my buds weren’t very dense so they dried quicker than the 6 or 7 days it took for the stem test method to work.
Good luck with your flush & harvest!
@Haplo, thanks! Yes, it’s so close but I’m holding out for a bit more amber. A little concerned about the drying time as well and saw some blogs online that recommended using a wood moisture reader as a gauge of the dry process? We’ll see, but yes, the stem snap is the best technique I’ve heard of. Excited to see your own harvest!!
