Do you guys prefer chemical or organic nutrients? Its probably a stupid question but i want to use chemical, but a friend of mine told me that its better for the earth and us if its organic. This sounded so stupid but i couldnt prove him wrong cuz i dont know much about nutrition

It really depends on your grow set up and whats best for you. I personally use both organic and synthetic nutrients depending on the grow and my pot size. When using smaller 3 -5 gallon pots I like to stick witch liquid organics or synthetic nutrients just because you really can't get a proper organic living soil in that small of a pot, the soil drys out to fast for proper microbial life...etc. I've had dank on both ends of the spectrum brother and its all on the grower in my opinion. I hope this helps 🙏

How much can i yield with a 240 watt led? Its my first grow with a led light and ive read everything from 0.5 - 3g per watt. I know it depends a lot on how good of a farmer you are, but what are your experiences?

My experience with organic soil and fertilizers Is around 1g per watt, when you do things correctly and improve yourself over time it can go up to 1.5g per watt. But for beginners id say anything between 0.8-1.1g per watt is realistic. However if you make mistakes and or have some problems with fungus or insects, it can be way less. Wish you good luck!

Switching from organic fertilizer to chemical ones in the middle of the grow? My biobizz is running out and i have some canna products left over which i would like to switch to. Does anybody have experience how the plants is behaving?

Switching from organic fertilizer (like Biobizz) to chemical ones (like Canna) mid-grow can be done, but it requires some considerations: Gradual Transition: Make the switch gradually to allow plants to adapt. Start by introducing the new fertilizer at a lower concentration and monitor plant response. Nutrient Variability: Organic fertilizers release nutrients slowly, while chemical ones provide them more immediately. Be mindful of potential nutrient level variations and adjust accordingly. pH Adjustments: Check and adjust the pH of your nutrient solution accordingly. Different fertilizers may impact the pH differently. Observation: Watch for any signs of stress or nutrient imbalances. Plants may respond differently to the change, so close observation is crucial. Flush if Necessary: If you encounter issues or notice nutrient imbalances, consider flushing the system to remove any remaining organic residues and start with the new fertilizer. Monitor EC Levels: Keep a close eye on Electrical Conductivity (EC) levels to avoid overfeeding or underfeeding. Adjust the nutrient concentration based on plant needs. Evaluate Plant Health: Regularly evaluate plant health, growth, and overall performance. If the plants respond well, you can continue with the new fertilizer. Remember that switching fertilizers can impact the soil microbial community. If you've been relying on the soil food web in an organic system, the transition to chemical fertilizers may affect microbial diversity.
